Friday
The silence was loud considering how quiet the room was as she laid on her side looking at the wall in front of her as she hugged the lavender colored comforter close to her chest. Her pillow wet from the constant crying from earlier but the tears were now dry and her eyes were slightly red and swollen from the cries.
She has skipped school today since last night was still fresh. She would replay those moment in her head every second of the day until she fell asleep again.
Jayda tried to get her to go to school today but Grace knew everyone was talking about her and she couldn't bear trying to get to class with everyone whispering and looking at her. She didn't have any friends anymore but her sister.
Chris has been trying to call for the pass two hours but Grace has ignored every single one because she needed to figure what she wanted to do without him trying to get into her head and sway her decision.
Her mom was still upset but she wasn't angry anymore because she felt like that wouldn't do anything in this situation because Grace needed her more than ever right now and she's been supportive the last couple of days. Her dad hasn't been talking to her as much.
Last night
Gracie Mary Edwards! look at me and tell me that girl is lying!" He yelled in frustration as she didn't say anything.
Words tried to form but nothing came out as her mom just looked at her with a blank stare and her dad continued yelling at her. It sounded like white noise as the tears ran rampant and her heart left it was going to stop as it started beating faster and faster.
How did he found out? Suki. Of course. Jayda warned her about this.
Suki has already been telling people at school what she speculates since Grace kind of went ghost on her friends and started just staying to herself and sister. Suki noticed her slight weight gain and also noticed how Grace started covering up with her clothing. Her mom works as a nurse at the same hospital as her dad. Everyone knows that Suki's mom, Janae loves being involved in drama doesn't matter what age.
"I was planning on telling y'all tonight" Grace said with a trembling voice, she couldn't even look at them. her eyes directly looking at the ground.
"Gracie, this is a serious matter. You should've came to me first especially when you started being sexually active" Her mom steps in walking closer to her.
