~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ He stormed out of the building, not giving any attention to anyone on his way. He even pushed a woman who was in line at the revolving exit doors. With screeching tires he left the area. Breathing heavily, he stopped outside his house running inside. "Where did you take her?" He grunt, staring at the portrait of Ezra hanged in his secret room. He felt his phone ring in his coat pocket.
"Hello?"
"Efebey? Hello, this is Ayfer, Ezra's aunt. I wanted to talk to you about something." He smiled, a plan immediately lingers inside his head.
Bandirma, Turkey...
Serkan had been on the phone all morning. Mostly with Kaan. What it was they were discussing about? Eda had no idea. Serkan gave her a different phone to use if she needs to call anyone. They can't risk it. She had called her Aunt about the situation and also Fifi and Melo.
It was almost lunch, when he got inside. A smile plastered on his face. Eda put down the book she was reading, giving him a questioning look. "What?" She pull her legs up the sofa, tucking it in the oversized shirt she's wearing. He grin wide. Hands clasp behind him.
"What is it?" She raised both hands, wiggling her finger. "Hi baby." He uttered leaning over to give her kiss then rolled to sit beside her.
"Hi. What do have there?" She stretched her neck to peek behind him, but he suddenly shift, his back on the arm rest. Eda launched herself on top him legs on his sides.
"Show me." She uttered biting her lips. Serkan stunned in position, her hair like waterfalls cascading beautifully around her beautiful face.
He felt his heart beat fast, his throat dried out. "hmmm?" Was the only sound that came out of his mouth.
"Serkan? What is it? You have been on your phone all morning, you haven't told me anything about what you and Kaan were talking about earlier. What is it you have in your hand?" She asked, her lips pouting like a baby. Oh God, please. How can I say no to that? He thought.
He sits up, Eda sitting on his lap, legs straddling him. "I'll tell you everything later, but first this." He pulls his hand from behind and opens up a red velvet box. Inside was an oval cut diamond ring.
"I should've had this when I asked you the question this morning, I had to call mom and ask one of the guards to bring this here. I have always known you and I were the end game. Though we've been apart for so long, not once did I even think of asking another girl out. You, only you. I know under the circumstances, this may be the worst time for me to do this, but I can't wait. I have waited a long time for you. Eda Yildiz, the years without you have been dull. Will you marry me?" He didn't notice a tear falling from the side of his eye.
