I don't know how long we slept but when my alarm went off I realized we slept through the two hours. I quickly sat up in the bed and searched for Caleb. His spot is empty. He is gone. "Caleb? Babe?" I called out looking towards the bathroom. Nothing. I got up to check the rest of the house. Empty. He left. But when. I went for my phone and call him. "Good morning princess." He answers. "Hey. What time did you leave last night?" I asked. "Around 3. You were fast asleep so I let myself out. Is it that you miss me already?" He asks seductively. I flopped down on the bed with a smile on my face. God this man. I started playing with my hair while imagining all the things we would be doing right now. "No. Just wondering why you didn't wake me up." I quickly replied. "So what are you planning on doing this beautiful Sunday morning?" He asks again. "I have no idea as yet. I know that I am taking Becca to the airport around 4 this afternoon." "Oh really? So that means we will have more time together." Is all is said and by the tone of his voice I know he must be smiling. "What about your wife? Am sure she must be watching you like a hawk watching its prey right now. Right?" I wanted to know what position I am in with him. If I should be worried or not. "There is nothing to worry about. We are ok. She won't find out." He confidently speaks out.

We talked for a while until someone from his end calls his name. "Hey babe I gotta go. My secretary just called me out for a meeting I am supposed to have with the shareholders on a new project. So I will call you later. I love you Nessa." He says and patiently waited for my response. "I love you too Caleb." I responded and then cut the call.
I get up from the bed and walked to the bathroom to begin my morning. It didn't take long for me to shower, brush my teeth and now am making pancakes for breakfast. The door bell rings. I went to answer it. Ryan and Becca stand there with bright smiles on both their faces. I can tell that last night was great for them. "Hi Vanessa. How are you this morning?" Ryan asks as if assuming something spectacular had happened. "Great. How are you two doing?" I ask mostly focusing on Becca and her wide grin. "We are great." She squealed looking up at Ryan. "Well I have to go. Have a safe flight later baby." Ryan said to her kissing her deeply on the lips. I walked away giving them their privacy to do their thing.

Throughout the day we talked and watched a movie together. Had lunch and now we are packing to go to the airport. I missed Becca already as I watch her walk towards the check in area. She is a great friend. I feel sad though that I can't tell her about Caleb for now. I hate having to lie to her. She turned and waved goodbye for now. I smiled and waved back.

Now that I am back home I started preparing myself for work. I still focused on the script for the play my kids will be performing. It reminded me of the times I would prepare skits for my cousins to cheer my aunt up back then. It's been almost two years since I last saw them but we keep contact over the phone. They are my everything. The sound of my phone brings me back to reality. "Hello." I answered after realizing who it is. "Hi. Its been a while." He said. "Come on Shawn, it's only been two days. Besides I will be seeing you at work in the morning." For some reason I started feeling annoyed by him. Maybe because of the fact that I know his intentions and I have no interest in him that way.
We talked a bit and then he asked if we could go watch a movie and grab a quick bite after. I wanted to say no but decided to give it a chance. We agreed on the time and complex to watch the movie.

We arrived there and everything was going smoothly. The movie he choose for us to watch is none other than 'The Nun.' At first I thought it's just a regular movie but from the beginning I realized this man intend on scaring me to death. Every five minutes into the film I jumped in fright. "I never thought you would be the scared type." He laughed as I clung to him. "This is not an ordinary movie Shawn. Now I won't be able to sleep in peace for a couple days." I responded jumping as the nun chases and almost killed the protagonist. I really wanted to leave. I stand up and made my way to the exit. Once I made it out I headed for the bathroom to catch my breath and freshen up. I jumped startlingly as the bathroom stall door made a creaking sound when it closes. I really need to go home and I mean now. As if on que Shawn calls me. I told him to meet me at the parking lot. I wanted to go home. He agrees and we met up. "It's just a movie. Come on. It wasn't that bad." He joked. I only faked a smile and walked towards the car.
