Between Two Men

I know that things aren't going to be easy for me now. Am pretty sure that Adam feels some type of way to hear me talking like this over the phone. But I mean it's none of his business who I speak with. I appreciate all he is doing for me but to walk out without letting me talk really makes me feel some type of way. I put the medications on the side table and lay in bed. I feel tired already. Slowly I dozed off.
"No no. Please stop. You're hurting me. Stop." I yelled fighting my body to wake up. But for some reason it doesn't. "Hey. Vanessa. Vanessa. Wake up. Hey." I feel someone shaking me. "Stop. No.....Aaaaahhhhhhh!" I screamed as my eyes shot wide open. I clung to the person holding me. I wanted to call out Caleb's name but I know better not to. Especially where I am. "You just had a nightmare. Everything is ok." Adam assures me. I love this type of comfort. Especially knowing that it comes from a safe place.

"Have you eaten? You seemed to have slept right through the day. Freshen up and come on down so we can eat dinner ok." He says before leaving, closing the door behind him.

I got up and went to the bathroom. I showered and goes downstairs to have dinner. The table is well prepared. Makes me wonder who else was he expecting. You can sit right here. Adam points out. I obeyed his instructions and sit at the area he pointed out. As we are eating I feel compelled to ask if he is expecting anyone. "So are you expecting anyone?" "No am not. I guess I ordered too much food for a two people dinner." He chuckled and says. I smile at him. We continued eating in silence until he starts asking questions. "What are you looking for in a man?" He asks causing me to cough a bit. 'Well uuummmmm.....I want a man who loves and understands me. Caring, honest, possessive and dominant. He must know how to control a situation and most importantly knows how to fuck.' I answered mentally. "Well I am looking for a companion who knows exactly what he wants in a woman,ambitious,hard working, honest and loyal." I replied after thinking over my answers. "Guess you're the type of woman who gets straight to the point. I like that." He compliments. I smile at him happily. "What about you? What are you looking for in a woman?" He didn't even flinched when I asked. "Well I want a woman who will accept me with all my flaws. She must be understanding, ambitious and knows how to please me." He looks directly at me when he says these words. "Ha. I see. Please you in what way?" I ask pushing the conversation. "Well I love fucking and dominating in the bedroom. I want her to match my energy. Pleasing me in all way." He makes a little side grin and I just feel as if he is trying to make me horny. I cleared by throat and continue eating.

We finished our meals and beverage and started cleaning up. "Hey hey. Stop. Let me do it. Its ok. Just go take your meds and rest ok." Adam says as soon as he seems me trying to wash the dishes. I didn't want to obey but in order to recover properly I have to take my meds and rest. "Ok. No problem." I shaked the excess water from my hands and headed for my room with a glass of water in hand.
Once inside I take the pills and drinker half the water in the glass. 'Ding Ding'. My phone message notification  goes off. 'Caleb'.

                       C: Hey whats up? How are you?
                       N: Hey Caleb. Am doing ok. I miss you
                       C: Am sorry babe. I really am. I wasn't
                             there to protect you.
                       N: When will you stop. I said its not your
                              fault. So please stop ok. I just want
                             to heal and get to go home.
                      C: I hope you get well soon ok. I want to see
                          you tonight. Send me your location.
                      N: Caleb am ok. You don't need to come
                           here. I will keep you updated with my
                            progress ok?.
