[Why does my heart clamor as summer approaches?]

Jack sighed as he stood in front of his best friend. They both stood outside of Ropo's house back in DragonFire. Jack wore a backpack, and his suitcases were at his sides.

"So, you're finally going, huh?" Ropo lightly chuckles as he stares down at the floor. "Honestly, I would've thought you'd leave a long time ago." He looked up to look at Jack, his eyes glossing with tears. Ropo has always been emotional with Jack, after all.

[Is it all right to think that even so, I'll be rewarded someday?"]

Jack scoffed in offense and raised an eyebrow. "Do you really have that little trust in me?" Jack shakes his head. "Whatever. You know we want different things. It was inevitable. I want to be the leader of the MineVengers," He shrugged. "And you want to go on adventures to different servers. Plus, I've wanted to get away from your stinky head anyway." Ropo jokingly punches Jack's shoulder, and Jack laughs.

Ropo sighed and wiped away his tears. "I know, dude." His eyes softened. "I just... We've pretty much been together most of the time. Minus Love Island and stuff. I kinda thought in college that we would still stay together. I never realized you took Stark's words and wanted to become the leader of the MineVengers!" Ropo threw his arms up to get his point across. "You know, that was what I was supposed to be before I took up part-time. It was what Cap and Stark wanted me to be. Well, before Stark met you."

["What was your dream, Teacher? Did you forget it when you became an adult?"]

Jack grinned before it faltered. "Wait, you were supposed to be the leader of the MineVengers?"

Ropo looked at the other in confusion. "Yeah? It was my life goal back then. One of the reasons to stay a hero, Stark convinced me that, but I lost motivation. I like a careless adventure. Not stressful ones." Ropo chuckles. "But enough about me, what are you going to do as leader-in-training?"

Jack smirked. "Well, I'm going to pass with flying colors and impress everyone." Ropo smiles. Of course, Jack would. "And I'll be living the life! While you probably fail at parkour while running away from something."

"Probably." Ropo won't deny the fact that he's horrible at parkour, not to his best friend anyway.

[With the word "goodbye" tearing so much at my chest, I was standing still for just a few moments at sunset.]

Jack sighed and embraced Ropo, surprising him. Ropo hugged him back and closed his eyes. The sun was setting, the petrichor from the rain earlier could be smelled, and the dragons roared in the distance.

"God, I'm going to miss you so much, you fart." Jack smiled brightly.

"Oh, screw you. I'll miss you too, you idiot."

They both separated and Jack took his suitcases. "Goodbye, Ropo. I'll visit you someday. I'll send gifts and postcards, though!" He turned, and the sound of the wheels drew farther away. Ropo pretended that a few tears didn't slip onto his cheeks as he waved. "I will too!"

It was the last time Jack heard of Ropo's voice in real life as the portal opened to the Little Club server, his home visible.

["Teacher, I want to talk about my life. What should I do from now on?"]

"What now, Tony?" Jack asked, his suit on except for his helmet. Standing across from Tony, who sat behind a desk.

"You learn. I'll teach you, and you'll be the best damn leader anybody has ever seen."

"I better be. If not, I'm blaming you." Jack smirked. Tony laughed.

[Look, it's not that I want to suffer. I just want to live without doing anything.]

Ropo sat in his shed after waking up in his hundred-world server. What day was it? Day 24? Time in these servers passed by quickly compared to others, after all. He looked at the picture of him and Jack on his phone and smiled. He was doing something great, amazing even.

Without him there.

Ropo shook his head. No, whatever. Both of them were living their best lives. It didn't matter. He stood up and opened the door, seeing snow that wasn't there yesterday. He woops in excitement and runs out, forgetting the dread for his friend.

[Is it selfish to want to look at the blue sky?"]

"Hah! I'M THE LEADER NOW!" Jack cheers in pure glee as he was made the leader of the MineVengers. Finally!

Jack wonders if having Ropo cheer beside him would be better than cheering along with Tony and the heroes with him.

The ache in his heart didn't hurt. He misses him, but it didn't hurt. Should it?

A star in the night sky shined bright, unfortunate that the others were covered by clouds. The moon shined just as bright as the star, weirdly bright.

["Teacher, I want to talk about my life. What should I do from now on?]

The familiar yet not familiar power trembles in his veins. His hands felt jittery. Ropo forgot what it was like to have superpowers.

He showcased the power to the camera while having fun with it. He was having fun. The sun shined brightly, which made him have to put his cap forwards, not wanting to hurt his eyes.

Ropo started running to test out the superspeed the suit he wore gave him. The hero stuff reminded Ropo of his best friend. It's funny, though.

He doesn't miss him. Like he didn't care about the years of friendship. He couldn't tell if he was confident that him and Jack would be okay or if he really couldn't care less. The thought made him upset. Ropo wanted to miss him, to not hurt Jack's feelings. People get hurt if their best friends don't miss them, right?

It's why people say, "Did you miss me?" or "I missed you!" after all. To make it clear to the other person that they cared while they spent time away.

It's funny, really. He's always been a sensitive person. Why isn't he now?

Sometimes the camera asks him where Jack was. He ignored it.

Ignore it.

[Is this really all right? Can I go on living like this?]

[Is it selfish to just want to relive memories?"]

It's okay. Both Ropo and Jack knew it would be okay.

It's okay to be okay without each other. And it was okay to not be.

They would stay best friends, they understood each other, and had always hanged out often.

No tears spilled, the sun shined brightly, and so did the moon. While the star was high in the night sky, and the wind breezed through.
