You were all about to burst. You were all too excited. You caught both boys trying to sneak and peek at their presents and admittedly you tried taking a few looks as well. But that was natural. Ever since Sam gave you a good 'telling off', you've tried distracting yourself as much as possible. And you pulled the boys right along with you of course. You'd all been cleaning nonstop all morning. Only when the bunker was spotless by 1 o'clock did you guys finally settle down. You still had the urge to check if your presents were still in their place and untouched. You made your way to the room you'd found while looking for blankets and pillows for last night's fort escapade. You lovingly called it your "Cat Cave". Cheesy and a bit weird sure, but it didn't harm anyone, cause no one knows. And you intend to keep it that way. When you walked into the room, you went immediately to your little hiding place for the presents and saw that everything was just how you left it. Perfect. You locked the door to the room behind you as you skipped down the hall. You made your way to the kitchen and pulled out one of your favorite snacks from the cabinet and started eating. Your knees shook under the table as you munched. You eyed the clock on your phone with envy and a bit of spite. You knew you could just demand presents be opened right now, but you just wanted to pace yourself. Wait for just a few more hours. You'd finally had enough of eating your anxiety away and returned to your room.

You turned your tv on to distract yourself for a few hours, watching your favorite YouTubers definitely made the time fly by. But only for a bit. You felt your eyes get heavy and decided to turn your tv down a bit and get under your covers for a 'quick' nap. Because it never was a quick nap, you got extra comfortable. You finally drifted off to sleep happy, knowing when you'd wake up, you could open up one of your presents. You woke up at half past 7. You woke with a bit of a start from something playing on your tv. You swiped your hands across the bed in search of the remote. Once found, you shut off the tv and sat up, snatching the blankets off your body. After you stretched and yawned, you got up from your bed and used the bathroom. You were practically bouncing while washing your hands. You couldn't dry your hands fast rough, and your hands were still slightly wet but you basically sprinted to the map room, shouting to the boys to come with you. They practically ripped their doors off the hinges as they followed suit. You all look like a bunch of kids, and indeed, that's what you all felt like. You finally made it to the big, beautiful tree in the map room. Dean was the first to sit in front of the tree. You sat next, and lastly Sam. You told the boys that for Christmas Eve, all of you choose one present to open and open the rest tomorrow morning.

When you said that, the boys immeadiently snatched their desired present and you grabbed your lats. All three of you make your way to the library table. The boys insisted you open your present first. You weren't sure at first but they encouraged you. You ripped into the wrapping paper to reveal a plain white box underneath. You saw Sam shift in his seat. So this was his present. You opened the box and met were met with the sweetest thing that you ever had given you. You found hand-carved wooden crochet hooks. They weren't perfect, but they were so sweet. You couldn't help but wipe the tears coming to your eyes and got up to hug Sam. You asked how he carved the hooks. He explained that while he obviously had help, he wanted you to know that he supported your hobby and he was happy to take the time to learn a new skill and make something that would help you with your own craft. So that's what he's been doing at the library. You again thanked him profusely and told him to open his present. He smiled down at the soft present and smiled. He could tell that this was clothing, but instead of negative emotion, he just felt curiosity and wonder.

He tore into the paper and saw a glimpse of the contents of the package. His heartstrings were tugging at him tough. He pulled out a set of winter clothing accessories. A scarf, gloves, and a beanie hat. It was some of your favorite projects to make. You'd spent a good week on Sam's set, making sure it would all correctly fit him. You did the best you could. Dean looked at you in wonder and adoration. Both boys were incredibly surprised and proud that you made these things for them. Sam would definitely wear these for the rest of winter. Sam tried on all of the things and you did a pretty good job getting it right for him! Sam got up and almost tackled you in a tight, warm bear hug. You were sure if Sam reacted like this to his set, you knew Dean would love his. Lastly, Dean was encouraged by both you and Sam to open his gift. Dean's present was a bit bulky and heavy. You took a few guesses on what it may be, but when Dean ripped open the gift, he was left speechless. It was a thick 600-paged journal with his initials on the bottom right corner. You looked at Sam, tears forming in your eyes again. Dean was a stuttering mess. Sam saved him by explaining he saw Dean's hunter journal was running out of pages. Sam figured Dean could transfer all his other notes into the new journal, or just have it when he ran out of pages. Dean stood and tried to hide his trembling bottom lip, but it was no use, you both saw right through his tough-guy act. He hugged Sam for a long time before pulling away, clearing his throat, and grunting out a quick "thank you" to Sam before sitting back down.

You guys sat in the map room, admiring the tree again and talking about how you all came up with ideas for their presents. One thing was for sure, you'd be surprised if anyone got any sleep tonight.
