Today was a relatively busy day for you all. You'd all woken up early, all having your own tasks in mind. Dean said he had something waiting for him at his P.O. Box and so did you. You'd all decided to go check your mail, making sure there wasn't anything too important. Sam asked Dean to drop him off at the local library. Sam had books to return, check out, and buy a few books from the bookstore next door. After dropping off Sam, Dean drove you both to your favorite little cafe for some coffee and a light breakfast. Enjoying each other's company and quiet moments.

You pulled out your small grocery list and asked Dean to go to the store with you. You needed some more food and more supplies and once you were stocked up again, you guys wouldn't have to worry about groceries for about a week or two. Either way, it would keep you guys out of any of the upcoming storms. By the time you were done shopping, Sam texted you saying he was done at the library. Dean scooped him up and drove you all to the bunker. After all the groceries were put up, Sam went off to his room, and Dean off to that damn garage again. You went to the library and browsed the internet for a while on your computer and phone while listening to your music.

You'd moved to your bedroom about two ago, remembering you needed to work on your Christmas gift for the boys. You finished your recordings finally! And you were just about done with your second crochet project. You were pleased with yourself. You also had a few things coming for the boys so you'd be on the lookout for that. Dean was almost finished with his own little projects. They were perfect. A few finishing touches and a trip into town would make them even better. He was proud of himself and he got to unwind. Take out his frustrations a bit too. It was perfect for him really!

Sam had always been good with his hands. But it was always surprising to him what all he could actually do with them. It was a pleasant surprise; for what he did for a living, new skills were always great. He was a little worried he wouldn't be able to pull this off. But he was determined to make this happen. Once Sam Winchester got something in his head, he would follow through. No matter what. His determination was valuable and admirable. But it also was a pain to deal with sometimes. He was definitely a Taurus.

The day flew by so fast, you were a bit startled when you finally looked up and saw the time. It was a little past eight. You went and knocked on Dean's door. He didn't answer so you assumed his headphones were on so you walked in. He was lying on his bed listening to his music and was a little startled seeing you in his room. Quickly, he recovered and asked what was wrong. You told him nothing was wrong but to head to the library to surprise him and Sam. Skipping over to Sam's door and telling him the Sam, you both head towards the library and pull out a deck of cards. Not just any deck of cards. The kind that sparked a special type of energy. A deck of cards associated with so much rage. One of the causes of ruined friendships. The kind of cards that gave the boys a small glint in their eyes. Uno. That cursed game.

The boys were very competitive if the snowman challenge wasn't enough of an indicator. Sam got up and chose a different seat from his original one next to Dean, making peaking impossible. Dean shuffled the cards and dealt seven cards to all of you. You made it clear that the first 3 rounds would be warm-ups. No stacking, no zeros or sevens will be followed by switching cards. Luckily, they both agreed, not having played in a while. The last time you played was followed by a very traumatic yet entertaining WW (Winchester Wars). Whether or not you were looking forwards to the ineffable WW2, you were still unsure. As planned the first three rounds were tame and great warmups and previews of what was to come. Round 4 was when things picked up steam. Dean slammed down a red seven and immediately demanded your cards. You begrudgingly switched with him and played a red +2 card to Sam, he immediately played a green +2 and Dean slightly raged screaming out, "God damn the BOTH of you." as he picked up his four cards while you proclaimed, "Karma's a bitch Dean."

The more +4 cards were played, the angrier and tenser the room got. Finally, the dam broke when you'd reversed direction on your last turn and played a +4 to Dean, and he to Sam. Expecting this to end with you picking up the cards, you'd surprised them and played another plus four in your deck, forcing Dean to play his other one and leaving Sam to pick up a whopping 12 cards. Sam broke and his fists flew to the table and accused you and Dean of cheating. He knew it wasn't true but dammit he wouldn't pick up 12 fucking cards without a fight. And that is exactly what followed. You'd been right about the Winchester Wars continuing tonight, what you didn't expect is for you to be caught up in it.

At least Sam didn't have to pick up 12 cards anymore.
