You and Donna were heading to a nearby tree lot to look at the best Christmas trees in Kansas. Jody opted to stay with the boys and talk for a bit while Charlie was excited about a small, non-dangerous adventure. Meanwhile your two best friends wherein your room still dealing with some nasty hangovers. It would've been nice to have at least one of the boys with you guys to help load the tree but they were wiped out from last night. You were hoping that you three girls would be enough but the yard people were usually friendly enough to help you load the tree. You had pulled the directions to the lot before you all pulled away from the Bunker. Donna and Charlie provided you with some nice girl chatter for the first hour of the drive. Donna fell asleep first, then did Charlie. And if you didn't have somewhere to be, you would've too. Instead, you kept yourself awake with your playlists going in the background and replaying memories of last night's family dinner.

Dean had been the first to get up, claiming he had to work on the impala before he forgot and we had to head out again. How he was going to fix up a car with a hangover, you weren't sure, you were still half asleep otherwise you would've kept him away from that damn garage. Although now that you thought about it, Dean had been acting a bit weird about things concerning that garage. He even parked the impala outside to claim we could "get out quicker." if there was an emergency. He practically barricaded the garage so no one could go in except him. You'd have to find out why later.

You were pulled from your spiraling thoughts by Donna's, thunderous snoring. You gently woke Donna up and told her you were about 15 minutes out from the tree lot. She stretched as you asked her to wake up Charlie too. As Charlie woke, you were turning into the tree lot and putting the car in park, and turning it off. Being the first to hop out of the car, excited to stretch and get some fresh air. You locked your car and the three of you went deep into the lot to find the best tree possible for the bunker.

After about 30 minutes of walking around, you all stopped when you saw the most enormous, beautiful, full tree in the lot. You immediately called over the lot owner and bought the tree. Since the tree was so big, you asked the lot owner to have a few employees secure the tree to the roof of your car. Once Charlie and Donna were sure the tree was secure, you handed Charlie the keys and she drove out of the lot and home.

Once home Jody, the boys, and your friends came outside and asked how everything went while unhooking the tree from your car. It was relatively easy getting the tree in the bunker's map room! You had plenty of people to share the load. It would've been more complicated if it was just you and the guys. Come to think of it, you were glad you invited all your friends. For their company sure but also to help with bringing the tree, even if it wasn't your first intention, it sure was convenient. You went to the dungeon to get the boxes of Christmas decorations for not just the tree, but some parts of the bunker. The plan of attack was discussed while you all ate leftovers. You would all be decorating the tree. When all that was done, You, Sam, and Jake (one of your best friends) would decorate part of the kitchen and around the bedroom doors. Dean, Daisey (your other friend), and Charlie would be decorating in and around the garage and staircase to the bunker's front door. Jody would be tasked with going back out and using your car to get dinner for everyone.

It was at least three hours since all the decorating was done, and you were all starving as Jody made her exit to get dinner. You tossed her your keys and she walked out the door as the rest of you walked around the bunker and admired your work. By the time Jody returned, you all practically attacked her (the poor woman) and sorted out what meals belonged to which person. The rest of the night was relaxing. Everyone was in the library, doing their own thing or in a small group. No one spoke unless someone else did first. It was a fulfilling day with the people you loved most.
