You, Dean, and Sam have been walking Manhattan's borrow all night. You all had a ball and the boys had huge smiles all night. You'd all gone to your apartment and they were surprised to your apartment was pretty spacious. Uncharacteristically for New York. Scoring this apartment was a big deal to you when you first moved in. And when you finally bought it, you felt even better. More fortunate than most that's for sure. The boys were still energetic in the apartment so you looked to see if you had any good food in the fridge. You didn't so you took them to the mom-and-pop restaurant you worked at in Brooklyn. You still remembered the route after all these years. It was comforting to see the usual shenanigans down in the subway stations. You didn't use your car at all while at home. The traffic was always bad. If you took your car for more than a street or two, you'd be lucky to make it to your destination in time. Waste of gas if you had a say. When you were alone you rented one of the bikes or took the subway like usual. Much more faster and efficient for you. You chuckled to see the same old weird antics while Sam and Dean had a constant "deer in the headlights" look about them. You chuckled, even more, when you realized everyone around them could probably tell they were tourists.

The 30-minute train ride to the shop was somewhat relaxing, with Sam mostly asking questions. Which you answered happily. The boys could tell you were in a good mood. They might have even said blissfully. Though they'd always be country boys, they could see the appeal of the big apple. Millions from around the world wish to come here. To see if they could "make it". You hopped off the train, Sam and Dean following suit as you all walked briskly down the street. The was no place to be slow here. Everyone was always on the move, always somewhere they needed to be. You had the store in your sight and let out a small sigh. You always tried your best to visit Allison and Troy. They've been married for 35 years. You wished to find what they did for yourself one day. Yes, you knew this life didn't normally allow for that but you've met married hunters! There was still hope for you. You were always a romantic. When you walked through the entrance you saw to your left was Allison serving a table. You waited patiently until she came over to you guys. Sam cleared his throat while Dean looked around at the small restaurant. You beamed at Allison when she looked up and finally spotted you. She bounded over to you and wrapped you in her strongest bear hug. You two chatted a bit and you finally introduced Sam and Dean. They smiled politely and when Dean offered his hand to Allison, she looked genuinely offended. She grabbed his hand and pulled him towards her and wrapped him in the Sam rib-crushing hug she gave you. Doing the same for Sam. They had to admit, she was a strong little lady.

You'd asked where Troy was and how he was doing and she said he was busy in the kitchen and would be out when things calmed down a bit back there. In the meantime, she gave all three of you menus and a booth with some water and coffee until you guys were ready to order. You'd ordered your usual two hashbrowns, five pancakes, four strips of sausage and bacon, and an iced coffee. You knew Troy would come out if he saw your order. He'd also be curious about the two other orders on the ticket since you never bought anyone here with you. The guys asked you about your experience living out here and you were honest. It wasn't all peaches and cream but it certainly wasn't the absolute worse place to be. Whereas most would find the city to be nerve-wracking, you thought it was amazing. You continued telling them your stories of living here when a loud booming voice flooded your ears.
