Hi all! Here's a bonus update. Merry Christmas 💗🎄
Today was a huge day for the Silagaur family for the huge consignment of Cocaine that they had received was going to be moved into their mansion and the despatch was about to start to various parts of the Country. If they were rich and powerful before this that was nothing in comparison to the kind of position this will put them in and Karishma was not going to let that happen. She had informed the Crimes department and the bust was going to take place that evening. The family had organised a huge party today.
They might be a criminal to the department but to the commoners they were just a rich family of entrepreneurs. The party was so huge they had invited every influential person in the town. And they had to come. They were not offered any choice. And that included politicians, big shot lawyers, members of the other gangs etc.
In fact, DSP, Commisioner, DC and even all the SHOs of Lucknow were invited cordially to the social event. Such was the reputation of the family. They could get a clean chit for anything because their track record was neat and no one would doubt their intentions.
Karishma was sitting on the ledge of the balcony with her legs dangling in the air in a dangerous height, overlooking the huge mansion's entrance and living area where the party was about to take place. She wss shouting random instructions at the men that were doing the decorations. Mostly she just liked to have fun with them, making one do a decoration and having another one of them remove it.
She held a whiskey bottle in her hand. Yup, she was drinking to cure her hangover. Mostly she wasn't able to remember how she had reached Haseena's home last night. But waking up in Haseena's home, on her lap, near that green couch had put her in a very chirpy mood and none of the henchmen of the family had got a slap from her since morning.
"Oye wahaan se phooto aur woh phool ko uss coner mein lagao. Jao." She shouted and a guy ran to do as per her instructions. She had another mouthful of whisky from the bottle she held.
"Beta tum wahaan kya karo ho idhar aao." Karishma heard a familiar voice and smiled. She turned and got down from the ledge.
"Dadi ma." She smiled and hugged the old lady.
"Ham bus aise hi-" she said scratching her forehead.
"Bahoth nautanki ho." Dadi ma said holding Karishma's ear making her sit on the couch near the grand corridor.
"Aur yeh subah subah whiskey rum hey bhagwan. Sab sangat ka asar hai. Kuch kaya tune?" When Karishma nodded in negative, dadi ma started feeding her morsels from the thaali she had brought with her very well aware that Karishma's wouldn't have eaten anything.
Dadi ma or Meenakshi Singh Silagaur was the oldest member of the family and was a sweetheart in general. She was mostly unaware of the criminal activities of the family but knew that her sons and daughters didn't get rich ethically and there wasn't much she could do about it. In the three months that Karishma had been with them, Dadi had taken a liking to her and was always happy in her company and she was Karishma's only solace in that family.
"Saadi kalo tum Karishma yeh nautanki sab theek karaane ke liye wahi sahi rahega. Humara Yash se hi karlo na hum roz tumko aise khilayenge." Dadi rejoiced at the idea of Karishma marrying her grandson.
"Ya phir Shivani ya Diya se kallo. Bahoth khule soch waale budiya hai tumhari Dadi ma." Dadi ma said referring to her granddaughters Shivani and Diya Singh Silagaur. Karishma chuckled at her antics. Distracted by the conversation Karishma had eaten more than she always ate and Dadi's heart was content.
"Dadi ma humari booking already ho chuki hai." Karishma said with a shy smile in her half intoxicated state.
"Acha koun hai woh jisne humari Karishma ki booking kar liya hai par usko yeh saare harkatein karne de raha hai?"
