Haseena's only focus now was getting Karishma to a hospital. A grave sense of deja vu set in on her reminding her of the time when she rescued Karishma from her Quarters. She again whispered the same words she had then, "please stay with me." Only, if it didn't happen this time, she'd give up her life too she decided.

"Karishma uthiye please!" Haseena shouted again but there was no reaction.  She down from the drivers seat walking around the car to tend to Karishma.

"Karu please uth jayiye jaan hum phir kabhie aapko Karu kehkar nahi bulayenge..hum hum aapka gulaam bankar rahengey please bacha uth jayiye na.." She pleaded as hot tears escaped her eyes. She scooped Karishma by placing her arm around her and there was no wound on her body. Her head was however bleeding and Haseena realised that her seat belt was loose leading to her dashing her head on impact. Karishma was not reacting to her pleas in any manner. Haseena once again patted Karishma on her cheek. Her lips quivering and hands shivering, Haseena was a sorry sight. Karishma's voice still reverberated in her mind, her calling her maddam sir and then SHO Haseena Mallik, the senior, surfaced.

"Karishma Singh! Aapko sunayi deh rahi hai yeh hum jaantey hai. Yeh humara order hai! Aap uth jayiye abhi issi waqt! Aise harkat humein hargis pasand nahi hai!!!" She ordered Karishma's life-less form desperately. The fact that Karishma was just laughing with her and now she was not even responding to her weighed down on her.

She managed to cover her wound and again sped away towards the Hospital but then a pair of headlights caught her eye and her heart dropped.

With one hand on the steering and the other hand on Karishma's wound she sped away as fast as she could. The truck was still trailing her. She thought to go to the more crowded parts of the town in the direction of the Hospital but then decided otherwise taking Karishma someplace only she knew, someplace where the truck wouldn't be able to follow her.. It was like all the pain she'd felt in those three months without Karishma had concentrated into this one single force pressing upon her chest. Her adrenaline was what kept her thinking straight.

The truck was still trailing them and Haseena was driving recklessly. She knew the place was nearby so she switched off the headlights of the car. Yes that was a gamble but she had to take it. Haseena had pulled Karishma on her lap cradling her like a baby, kissing her head, praying desperately for her to wake up. The bleeding had however stopped. The driver looked around for some more time and then left.

..

The sun was yet to rise and Karishma was yet to wake up, it was as if Haseena, the Sun of Karishma's life didn't rise until Karishma woke up.  It was fajr in whatever place Haseena had brought Karishma to. The sound of the prayer seemed to reach Karishma's ear because she blinked with difficulty once and then twice and opened her eyes despite the pounding headache. She needed water but then she needed a glimpse of Haseena more than that. She turned but then hissed inaudibly at the wound being bothered. She lifted her hand feeling the bandage around her head, but then something beautiful caught her eyes. Rather someone. Haseena was right there on the floor next to her, praying on a small mat, her face was visible to Karishma thanks to the lone candle that was glowing in the room. Karishma silently took in the view. Haseena was still unaware of Karishma gaining consciousness.

Karishma slowly got up, the pain was more prominent now but she was able to manage. She looked around the place and the house looked unfamiliar and so did the environment. The fajr was still ringing in her ears and it somehow gave her the strength to get up and she walked to Haseena. Her Haseena.

Haseena slowly opened her eyes when she felt the disruption. With the fajr prayers ending in the nearby mosque and Karishma standing before her with the early morning rays gracing Karishma's outline from behind, she really felt like her god had really answered her prayers, and Karishma standing before her like that proved that.
