Idina's Christmas Passed

Summary: Idina is upset that Christmas is over and decides to recreate it.

Idina was looking out the window on a snowy December morning after Christmas.

"Christmas!" she said.

She ran towards her parents who were starting to take the lights and ornaments off the Christmas tree.

"Christmas" said Idina.

"It was a wonderful Christmas, Idina" said Chad.

"Yeah. But it's over now. And now we can start thinking about other holidays. Like valentines day and easter and halloween" said Meg.

Kristen took her remote control robot and steered it to the tree.

"I see somebody's enjoying what she got for Christmas" said Chad with a giggle.

Kristen nodded then continued playing.

Idina held out her hands as Meg took down more ornaments.

"Oh, thanks, Idina. This'll go a lot faster if you help" said Meg.

"I know taking decorations off the tree isn't nearly as much fun as putting them on. But when we do, we can think about how lovely Christmas was" said Chad.

"Exactly. You two were lucky to get so many good presents. Kristen got her robot and construction kit and Idina got a new tea set" said Meg.

Just when she thought the decorations were off the tree, Meg found the ornament boxes empty.

"Christmas" said Idina.

She had just put the ornaments back on the tree.

"Oh, Idina, you silly old thing" Chad laughed.

"Oh, honey, I know how you feel, but Christmas is over so all the decorations have to come down" said Meg.

The two girls both noticed how sad Meg was getting that Christmas was over.

Chad too noticed that and walked over to the girls.

"Your mum knows exactly how you feel. Why don't you do something to cheer her up?" he whispered.

Idina thought on it then nodded her head.

She turned to Kristen and gestured for her to make her robot pick up the decoration box.

"Oh! Well, at least this time I know they're going in the box and not back on the tree" said Meg.

As soon as the boxes were full, Kristen and Idina took them upstairs.

Now, Chad and Meg were taking down their Christmas stockings and cards.

"Oh, Meg, these were such wonderful cards. Like this one I got from Jeremy with a picture of a beautifully decorated tree" said Chad.

"Yes. Beautiful" said Meg.

Then she took town the Christmas garland from the fireplace.

"There's no doubt about it now. Christmas is over" Meg sighed.

Chad rubbed her shoulder for comfort then motioned for the girls to steal the garland.

Idina and Kristen took the garland, stockings and cards and took them upstairs.

Meg overheard the noise and followed it upstairs.

"Meg, no" said Chad blocking her way.

"Chad... what are you up to?" said Meg suspiciously.

Then she heard the ornaments clinking and stomped into her bedroom.

"Idina and Kristen! You know you're not supposed to be in my room unless you ask!" she said.

Then she saw that the girls had made a Christmas tree from Kristen's construction kit.

"Surprise, luv" said Chad.

"Oh my goodness! This is such a nicely made tree. It's just like having a second..." Meg began.

"Christmas!" said Idina.
