The Stuart family was at the Flower Festival.

Chad had promised Meg he'd take her to see the beautiful flower display.

"I can't wait till we get to the front of the line. I bet the flowers at this year's festival are even more gorgeous than ever" Meg squealed.

Kristen then saw a kid running around with a balloon.

"Balloon!" she said.

"Yes, Kristen, they have balloons too. But the best part of the flower festival is seeing all the beautiful flowers" said Meg.

"Balloon" said Kristen.

"We can see the balloons later, Kristen. We'll lose our place in line if we go now" said Meg.

"Balloon" said Kristen pouting.

"Meg sweet, let's get her a balloon. If we're at this festival for you alone, why are the kids even here?" said Chad.

"I guess that's a good point. Alright, Kristen. We'll get you a balloon and then we'll get back in line" said Meg.

The family found a stand where Dick Grayson was selling the balloons.

"Hey, if it isn't the Stuart girls" he said to Idina and Kristen.

"Hi, Dick. Kristen would like a balloon" said Meg.

"Balloon!" said Kristen.

"Idina, would you like a balloon too?" said Chad.

"No" said Idina.

"Alrighty then. One balloon coming right up" said Dick.

He took a long red balloon and tied it up and made it look like a dog.

"Ta-da!" Dick sang.

"Balloon!" said Kristen.

"No ordinary balloon for my friend Kristen" said Dick.

"It's a dog" said Meg.

"Balloon" said Kristen.

"Thank you, Dick. Now I've promised Meg I'd take her to the flower show, so we'd best be off" said Chad.

"Have a blooming good time" Dick joked.

The family went to get back in line when Idina stopped in front of rose body masks.

"Those roses are pretty aren't they luv?" said Chad.

Idina nodded and Kristen stepped behind one of the roses.

"Kristen, that's a great idea. The flowers can wait for one more minute. A photo of you girls as rose blossoms would be so cute" said Meg.

Idina got behind the other rose body mask so they could take a picture.

But since there was no cardboard around the roses, Kristen's dog balloon bumped into one of the thorns and popped just as the camera clicked.

"Balloon!" said Kristen.

"Oh dear, Kristen. I suppose balloons and roses don't mix" said Chad.

"But don't worry. We'll get you a new balloon. But we have to hurry so I can see the flowers" said Meg.

The family went back to Dick's balloon stand.

"Dick?" said Meg.

"Hey, guys. Back from the flower show so soon?" said Dick.

"We didn't get there. Poor Kristen's balloon dog popped. Could she have a new one please?" said Chad.

"Of course. Let's see what it'll be this time" said Dick.

This time, he took a yellow balloon and tied it into a duck shape.

"Ta-da!" he said.

"Ooh! It's a ducky" said Meg.

"Balloon!" said Kristen.

"Blimey, it's a great duck isn't it, Kristen?" said Chad.

"Thank you, Mr Gwayson!" said Idina.

"My pleasure girls. Have fun" said Dick.

"If we hop to it, we can still get there" said Meg.

The line was shorter now, but when they got there, Kristen's balloon duck slipped out of her hand and floated away.

"Balloon! Balloon!" said Kristen.

"Kristen! You have to hang on tight to a balloon" said Meg.

"Balloon" Kristen sighed.

"Oh there there, Kristen. We'll get you another" said Chad.

"But Chad, it's getting late. And I still haven't seen the flowers" said Meg.

"Meg..." said Chad strictly.

"Oh, alright. There can still be something in it for the girls. But we have to hurry" said Meg.

The family went back to where Dick was.

Kristen showed him her empty hands and said "Balloon".

"Holy repeat; not again" said Dick.

"This time, Kristen's balloon duck flew away. Can we please get another one?" said Meg.

"Your duck flew south? Well we can take care of that in a jiffy" said Dick.

This time, he took a pink balloon and shaped it into a rabbit.

"It's a bunny, Kristen. How sweet" said Chad.

"Balloon!" said Kristen.

"Here" said Meg.

She tied the balloon to Kristen's wrist and said "Now it can't float away".

The family was about to get back in line, but then Kristen's balloon rabbit got caught on a candy jar. She couldn't free it.

"Balloon!" she said.

"Hold on, honey. I'll free it" said Meg.

She freed it, but she pulled too hard and made the string disconnect from the balloon.

The rabbit was deflating and zipping through the air and Meg couldn't catch it.

"Balloon" said Kristen sadly.

"Oh, Kristen, I'm sorry" said Chad.

"Me too. But maybe seeing the beautiful flowers will cheer you up" said Meg.

"Now, Meg" said Chad.

Kristen gave her mother a dirty look.

"Okay, okay. I'm the one who deflated your balloon so I should be the one to fix it. But we have to hurry" said Meg.

The family made one last trip to Dick's balloon stand.

"Dick? Kristen's balloon bunny deflated" said Meg.

"Oh dear. Well, don't worry, Kristen. We can fix it. You guys caught me just in time. The fair is closing" said Dick.

"Closing? Oh no! I didn't get to see the flowers" Meg cried.

"Oh, it's okay, Meg" said Chad.

"No it's not, Chad. You promised we could see those beautiful flowers and I missed the whole show" said Meg.

Then Kristen got an idea. She whispered instructions to Dick.

"You okay, Mummy?" said Idina.

"No, honey, I'm not. If only we could have seen even one beautiful flower" said Meg.

Kristen tugged on Meg's skirt and she turned and saw a balloon flower Dick made for her.

"For me? Oh, thank you, Dick! And thank you, Kristen. My very own beautiful balloon" said Meg.

"Flower" said Kristen.
