Chad had just brought Idina and Kristen to the park to play.
"You two can play while Jeremy and I make a banner. Jeremy should be here any second. He has a surprise for you two" said Chad.
"Here we are" said Jeremy's voice.
"Jewemy!" Idina and Kristen squealed.
The two girls jumped into Jeremy's arms before seeing he'd brought two other children with him.
"Girls, these are my kids. Lucy and Matthew" said Jeremy.
He faced his kids and said, "Matthew, Lucy, this is Idina and Kristen. And that's Chad, their father."
"Hullo, Lucy and Matthew. You lot are going to play together while Jeremy and I make the banner for Actorville's upcoming picnic" said Chad.
Idina and Matthew both smiled at each other, but Kristen wasn't sure she liked Lucy.
"Now then. Let's have the kids play over there while we work" said Jeremy.
"Good idea" said Chad.
The men took the children to the other side of the park with a wagon full of toys.
Idina and Matthew had already started taking turns playing.
"Well. At least Idina understands" said Chad.
"Does Kristen not?" said Jeremy.
Kristen started wheeling the wagon away from Lucy, but Chad stopped her.
"Kristen, sweet. You have loads of toys. You can share them with Lucy" he said.
Lucy had already grabbed a toy dump truck and started playing with it.
"Chad, perhaps we should leave them to it. Maybe then they'll start playing together" said Jeremy.
Chad sighed. "Alright, Jeremy. Let's get to work."
The two men unrolled a giant piece of paper onto a picnic table.
"I say. This is going to be a big banner" said Jeremy.
"Well, we do want everyone to see it" said Chad.
"How d'you want it to look, Chad the lad? It's your banner" said Jeremy.
"Hmm. Perhaps instead of writing words, why not draw pictures of actors at a giant picnic" said Chad.
"That sounds fun" said Jeremy.
Kristen stood between them and said "Mine!"
"Kristen? What's the matter?" said Chad putting his hand on his daughter's shoulder.
Kristen pointed in the direction of Lucy playing with the dump truck all alone.
"It doesn't look like they're playing together" said Chad.
He and Jeremy went to where Lucy was.
"Having fun, Lucy?" said Jeremy.
Lucy nodded her head quickly.
"Lucy really likes your dump truck, Kristen. Why not let her take a turn while you play with something else?" said Chad.
Kristen scowled at Lucy then nodded.
Chad gave her a toy ambulance and said "Try this, luv."
Kristen played with her ambulance and let Lucy continue with the truck.
"I think they understand. Let's get back to our banner" said Jeremy.
While Idina and Matthew were running around and laughing, Kristen and Lucy were sorta fighting over their toys.
Kristen offered Lucy her ambulance in hopes that she'd let her have a turn with the dump truck.
Lucy accepted the ambulance, but kept both toys and snapped, "Mine!"
Chad and Jeremy had just finished drawing pictures on the banner.
"Chad, that looks just like your mates!" said Jeremy.
"Well, I have been looking at them for a long time. And your picnic basket us lovely" said Chad.
"Thanks, lad. I've..." Jeremy began.
Before he could finish, Kristen jumped onto the table to get Chad's attention.
"What's wrong now, Kristen luv?" said Chad.
"Mine" said Kristen.
Chad and Jeremy looked and saw that Lucy was playing with both of her toys.
"I s'pose Lucy isn't letting Kristen take a turn" said Jeremy.
"I s'pose not. Well, Kristen has more toys than I can deal with. How about a train, dear? You love that" said Chad.
Kristen cheerfully took a toy train and started playing with it.
Chad laughed then said "That should do it."
The men went back to the banner and inspected it.
"It's lovely. I can't wait to see it hanging" said Jeremy.
"Me either. I have an idea" said Chad.
Kristen casually left her train to grab a car for it.
But when she got back, Lucy had taken it and connected it to the dump truck and ambulance.
Chad and Jeremy had just hung up the banner on the playscape.
As they backed away to get a better look at it, they saw that Kristen had come back.
"Mine!" she said.
Chad looked and saw Lucy had stolen the train.
"Oh dear" he sighed.
"Lucy luv. You can't play with all of Kristen's toys. You have to let her have a turn" said Jeremy strictly.
"Mine!" Lucy whined.
"Oh, kids" Jeremy sighed.
Chad decided to try finding another toy.
"Here, sweet Kristen. Play with your jelly-ball spitting spider" he said.
Kristen accepted the spider and poured a bucket of jelly balls into it.
Lucy was interested in the spider and came to see it.
Kristen saw where this was going and turned her head away.
Lucy handed her the controller and said "Show me."
Kristen smiled and took the controller.
She pushed a button and a jelly ball shot out of the spider's mouth and splatted on Chad and Jeremy's banner.
"What on earth was that?" said Jeremy.
Kristen handed the controller back to Lucy and said "Twy it."
Lucy pushed the button and another jelly ball shot at the banner.
"Oh dear" Chad gasped.
Lucy handed Kristen the button and she shot another jelly ball.
The girls continued taking turns shooting jelly balls at the banner until Chad and Jeremy realized they were doing it.
"Kristen!" Chad snapped.
"Lucy!" Jeremy snapped.
"Look what you've done" Chad almost shouted.
Walt Disney had come by to see the banner.
"Look at that banner!" he said.
"Oh, Walt! We can explain" said Chad.
"It's beautiful" said Walt.
"Beautiful?" said Jeremy.
"Oh yes. Whose idea was it to add these splashes of color?" said Walt.
"Mine!" said Kristen and Lucy together.
The two girls high-fived.
