Harry's POV

It seemed to take forever to get to Georgia’s house.

It really sucked having to come see her when all I wanted to do was be with Helen at this exact moment.

I would be holding her close to my chest in a warm embrace.

I would kiss her moist lips softly until I got drunk with her taste.

Thinking about my best friend felt perfectly normal, almost as if unconsciously, she was who I always wanted to be with.

When Georgia’s house came into view, my heart beats became uncontrolled and hard, hard enough to hurt.

I parked in front of the big house and took a deep breath.

“You can do this Harry. You have to do this”.

Without giving myself time to think it twice and regret it, I pushed my door open and got out of the car.

I let my mind go blank until my knuckles brushed the front door in a slow knock.

I waited for a long minute before Georgia answered the door.

“Oh, it’s you” she stated, sounding uninterested.

“Are your parents here? Can I come in?” I asked.

“No and yes” was all she said before opening the door for me.

I followed her to the living room and sat about two feet away from her on the couch.

“How was your day?” she asked, trying to be polite.

“Good” I answered emotionless.

She knew I had been with Helen so she also knew the answer to that question, there was no need to elaborate.

“What about yours?” I questioned.

“Could've been better” she replied with a shrug. There was nothing I could say to that so I didn't say anything at all.

“So…” she prompted.

This was getting ridiculous, I came here for one reason, just one.

” I'm sorry” I started.

“Finally! I'm glad you realized how stupid you acted today. Don’t worry though, I forgive you. Aren't you a lucky guy with such a forgiving girlfriend?” she smiled cheerfully and I felt instant guilt.

“No, Georgia. I'm sorry but” she cut me off.

“It’s okay Harry, I know exactly how you can make it up to me” as she said this, she scooted closer and crawled on my lap.

“Georgia please I'm trying to tell you” this time she cut me off by planting a kiss on my mouth.

“Georgia please, I really need you to hear me out” I tried again.

“Not now” she purred with a smile before linking our mouths again.

Kissing her felt wrong, foreign. I tried breaking off the kiss but she pushed herself harder against me and her hands started tugging my shirt up.
