WHILE wearing her bull cap and dark shades to at least hide her face a little from prying eyes, Chloe kept on swigging every shot of tequila that she ordered like there was no tomorrow. She was sitting on the most corner part of the TBG club, near the bar counter.

Tears kept on streaming down her cheeks while remembering what happened earlier.

She couldn't believe that Liam actually cheated on her, Chloe Nichole Winters Rosenberg. Not just that. He even called her cold fish in front of all the people there.

Even though she hadn't gone online yet, she knew that what happened had already exploded on the internet, spreading like a virus. She must be the laughing stock of everyone right at this moment and she wanted to disappear to escape from the bitter reality.

"Fùck you, Liam! Go to hell with your b*tch! I don't care anymore!" Yeah, she wished that she could just ignore the pain but she just couldn't.

She peered at her engagement ring full of bitterness and indignation before removing it from her finger. The two-carat diamond ring's glint seemed like mocking her.

Before, she felt happy everytime she would stare at the ring. But now, she felt like she was gazing at the ugliest ring on earth. She suddenly recalled a saying; true love and faithfulness are not measured by how big the stone of the ring is.

She wanted to laugh at herself. Pathetic. This happened to her because she let other people dictate her life. She was always like that.

She thought, she would never go wrong if she followed everything that her parents wanted her to do. She thought, she was doing the right thing but now, she was left trying to pick up the broken pieces of her heart alone in vain.

When her father told her that Liam was the perfect man for her, she didn't have the guts to say otherwise even though she had doubts in her heart. Instead, she taught herself to like him and she actually did it to the point that she accepted his marriage proposal.

His charming and nice personality easily earned him a spot in her heart.

Ever since she was a kid, she'd been nothing but a good daughter to her parents. She did everything she could to please them; to make them proud of her.

But now, she suddenly felt so tired of it all. After catching Liam cheating on her, she felt so humiliated that she wanted nothing but to run away from everything.

She decided to come to the club to allow herself to forget even just for a little while. Her parents never allowed her to go to such places nor drink alcohol but when Liam became her boyfriend, she experienced some night life. Her parents actually allowed her to go only because she was with Liam.

She was already 22 years old but she couldn't even decide for herself nor do whatever she wanted to do in life.

This was her first time coming to a club without Liam with her. Liam forbade her to go to clubs without him and her father couldn't agree more because apparently, it was safer for her.
