It was a hot and long ride home. Brian decided that it was best if we took a car by ourselves because of the heat. I kind of feel bad because everyone wanted to be with me. I felt his gaze every so often on the side of my head. Why does he keep looking at me? I gasped as I felt his hand softly grip my thigh. It was hot and heavy yet cool and gentle. The feeling was euphoric and I wanted more. "Are you okay? I know what happened probably shook you up a little but I understand baby. It wasn't your fault." As soon as he finished that sentence a sharp pain decided to grace me with its presence. I screamed and grabbed my stomach as the pain flew through my body. The car jerked to the side and came to a halt. "Crystal baby let me take your pain away. I know we're in a car but I don't like to see you in pain. I promise we won't do anything you don't want to and-"

I cut him off- jumping into his lap. He landed back with an "oomph" and wrapped his arms around my waist. "That's it. I got you baby girl." He grabbed the back of my thighs and pulled me forward. I gasped at the contact and shivered at the electrifying feeling running through my body. It's intense and addicting. Aurora came forward to see through my eyes. "Our mate is beautiful." I mentally agreed and stared into his bright green eyes. Something seems different. Why has the mate bond intensified? It seems more potent. He also has specs of Gold in his eyes. My thoughts were interrupted by his kisses on the side of my neck. I moved my head a little to give him more access. "We must mark him Crystal. This is just going to keep happening if we don't. The pain will not go away if you keep this up. He needs to awaken." Awaken? What is she talking about? I was about to question her until I felt his fingers brushing the bare skin of my stomach.

My shirt began to slowly ride up above my breasts. I leaned back to give him a little room to lift it over my head. I am now completely naked in front of my mate. The cool air coming from the vents hardened my nipples and that wasn't the only thing. The way Brian stared at me had my insides churning and screaming to the moon. He looks hungry, dangerous, lust-filled. He looked up at me and smirked. "Lean back a little more." His voice came out gravely and deep. I did as told and my back was damn near arched over the steering wheel. I heard him take in a sharp breath. I wonder what I look like from his view. His touch was exhilarating I could just burst right here right now and he hasn't even done anything yet. A sharp pain started at my stomach and down to my legs. I hissed and tried to close my legs but he forced them back open. "Brian." I whimpered into my hands that was stopping a scream from exiting my mouth. "I know baby."
