Crystal pov

I really shouldn't let him get to me. I don't see what I'm doing wrong here. Actually I didn't do anything wrong. He's just acting like a big ol'-

"Pussy."

I laughed at what she said. I was headed toward the empty meadow. It's my favorite spot to go to when I need to clear my head. I like it here. No drama, no worries, no mean friend who won't talk to you because of your mate who you just found. "Crystal stop stressing over something so small. He's not worth your stress. Our mate is. He can stress me out all he wants." She growled softly. I giggled and agreed. "Do you want to go for a run?" I asked her.

"Oh Crystal I really do but I don't want to put you in even more pain then you are now." I shook my head. "I'll be fine Aurora, you haven't been let out in a while." I stood up and wiped the dirt off of my butt. "Are you sure?" I nodded and started to undress.

"I'll try to make the change as quick as possible. So you won't be in so much pain afterwards." I took a deep breath and thought about my hands turning into a paw. I felt my nails elongate and my bones cracking. I whimpered in pain but kept going. I thought about my feet changing into a paw and felt them stretching out. I hunched over and growled in pain feeling my bones cracking, my spine popping out of place, other bones grinding against each other trying to get in the right position. I can feel everything.

Ever since I transitioned, my process has always been was slow. The pack doctor thinks it's because I'm half human. My mom cries every time she sees me in my wolf because she thinks she's the cause of my pain. She's human she can't help that.

"I hate putting you through that just for me to run and hunt."

I groaned and let her have control over everything. I'm too tired to run as my wolf. So I blocked everything out and faded away.

I'll just rest for a while.

Aurora pov

I sighed as I felt her fade a little. Good, she needs her rest. I'll protect her. I picked up her clothing, tucking it under my tongue. I took in a deep breath enjoying the goddess' land. I leaned back on my hind legs, growled, and leaped forward. I started running as fast as I could. Oh how I've missed this.

I kept running until I got to the end of the border. The creek. I gently set her clothes beside a tree and headed for the creek. I laid down in front of it and started to drink. I don't feel like hunting anymore. "Aurora!" I winced and choked a little at the sudden intrusion.

"Yes alpha?"

"Bring Crystal back here right now! There's a hybrid on our lands." First off how did he know I was in charge of crystals body at the moment? And second, what is wrong with their warriors!? A freaking hybrid!?

"Yes alpha. Right away."

Unlike Crystal, I'm strong. It's weird how I'm strong yet Crystals human form is weak. I will have to do some digging to see why that is. It affects me in some ways as well. I can't use my full power with her. Like healing and stamina. I believe it's because she's not letting me. Ever since I connected with her, everyone insists that I be kept inside. I chose her for a reason. She's strong but everyone's holding her back. Including herself.

"Hurry! Please!" I was brought out of thought by my alpha. He pleaded. I've never heard him plead before.

I huffed and took off.

I saw the pack house and sighed in content. The alpha and his son was standing guard. I saw James look at something and his eyes widened. "No! Crystal!" Both him and the alpha quickly changed into their wolf and ran towards me. But before I knew it, I was being tackled to the ground and pain immediately attacked my neck.
