Crystals POV

I was in shock. Not because of the heat but because I let Bruce have his way with me. I shouldn't have let him get that far. I looked back up to Bruce and started to lightly push him off of me. "Crystal come to me." I heard Brian say. My body immediately reacted to his command. I pushed Bruce completely off of me and snatched the rest of the chains from off of my legs. Bruce growled and tried to grab my arm as I jumped from off of the bed and into my mates arms. Brian grabbed me and pulled me into a huge embrace. "Touch her again and I'll kill you myself, hybrid." For some reason Bruce looked scared of his threat but quickly covered it with a growl. "Just take her and go. Be careful, there's wolves out there that's being affected by the heat." I looked over at Bruce and saw him bow to Brian. He bowed!

I looked up at Brian and saw that he was already staring at me. "You don't know how worried I've been and how much I've missed you baby." He said pulling me closer to him. I started to tear up because of what just happened. I cheated on him, I don't deserve him. "I'm sorry, I didn't mean to do it. I couldn't c-control myself and my senses were way too heightened and-." He cut me off by kissing me forcefully on the lips. I moaned and forgot everything I was about to say. He grabbed me by the waist and pushed me up against the wall. "Okay, no! Take her out of here. Her scent is getting unbearable." Bruce said while closing his nose up with his fingers. Brian let me go and grabbed my hand. "We have to hurry, everyone is waiting." Everyone?

"Please keep her safe." Bruce exclaimed while sitting on his bed. "I don't have time for the moon goddess to punish me again."

"You doubt me. Don't." Brian scoffed before pulling me out of the door. My body then decided to warm up again. I whined and squeezed Brian's hand. He looked down at me and gave me a soft smile. "Do you think you could hold on a little while longer?" I nodded as he pulled me through the house and out of the doors. I looked at my surroundings and saw three black cars waiting in front of the house. All of a sudden all of the doors from each car swung open. Then came chaos.

"Finally!"
"Thank goddess we found you!"
"You sure gave us a hell of a fright there Crystal."
"Oh my baby!"

That one caught me off guard. I looked up and saw my mom running towards me with open arms. I moved away from her as she was trying to pull me in for a hug. Brian stepped in front of me and held up his hand. "Give her some space. You guys are breathing down her neck. Mrs. Waters, could you give her some time, please?" I heard her say 'yes' and back up a little. "James." His name perked me up and I looked over Brian's shoulder to see James looking defeated and tired. "Take her." Brian pulled me forward and in front of James. "I have business to take care of." He said kissing my cheek and running back into Bruce's home.

I looked up at James as he looked down at me with tired eyes. "My princess." James whispered as he slowly lifted his hand to caress my cheek. I moaned out at his touch, he cursed and snatched away like I had burned him. "Dammit Crystal, you're in heat." James whispered. I heard all of the boys take a deep breath and growl. Wait growls? This heat is making me go crazy. I must be hearing things. "Back the fuck up or I'll snatch each and every one of your throats out." James announced as he pushed me behind him. Whys he getting defensive? They're not werewolves. "We're not going to touch her you dumb fuck." Dylan said while backing up. "I just want to hug the girl that disappeared from off of the face of the earth and had all of us worried." Jacob sighed and stepped to the side to look at me. "I'm sorry everyone." I said as I looked down.

"She speaks!"
"It's nice to finally hear that voice again."
"Damn, I'm hungry."

I snickered at the last comment and looked up at Dylan. "I'm sorry I gave all of you such a hard time. I just needed some time to . . . Heal." I'm trying my hardest to choose my words carefully around them. Just as I finished my sentence, heat started to engulf my body. I gasped and held on to my stomach. "Oh no, where's Brian!?" My mom said frantically looking at the house. The boys backed away but James grabbed my hand. Why're they backing away? He groaned and pulled me closer to him. "James don't touch her!" She said while hitting his back.

"It's fine, I'm used to it." James groaned out as he pulled me to one of the cars. "Used to it?" She asked while walking alongside us. "She locked herself up in the dungeons remember? So I've always been used to her scent."

"Touching and smelling are two totally different things. How are you still touching her without going crazy?" She asked just as confused as I am. Then realization hit me. "James what the fuck!" I exclaimed as I snatched away from him. Everyone looked back at me with confused expressions. "Crystal what's-."

I pulled him to the side where no one could hear. "You didn't mark your mate!?" It got quiet. I looked at him then at everyone else to make sure they couldn't hear this. If he did mark her he wouldn't be able to tell I'm in heat or he wouldn't be able to smell me either. Since he can smell and feel it, it's dangerous because his wolf could false claim us on accident. James cleared his throat and scratched the back of his neck. "I needed to find you first. I didn't need any distractions."

"Distractions? Distractions!? How would she be a distraction!? She's your mate!" Aurora came out, taking half control of my body. I growled at him not liking the fact that he chose me over his mate. His mate. "If I wasn't an omega I would whoop your ass right now."

"Goddess he's a dumb ass."

"First of all Aurora, that's not nice and second of all I didn't mark her because finding you was my top priority. So I'm sorry if I love and care for you. You mean so much to me and I'm not about to let my dumb ass feelings get in the way of our friendship. I needed to see that you were safe, and now that you are I'm at peace again. Don't worry about my mate she understands." He took my hand again and bit his bottom lip. "Forgive me, princess."

I felt a tear fall down my cheek and I quickly wiped it away. How is this even possible? How can a wolf love someone more than their mate? "Of course I forgive you James. This doesn't particularly mean we're friends again. You have to earn that back." I said as I pulled away from him. He smiled at that and nodded. Seeming happier than ever. "Finally!" Dylan explained while looking behind me. I turned and saw Brian running back up to us.

He came to my side and pulled me to him. "Let's go home." He said smiling down at me.
