Crystals povWhen we arrived at Dylan's pack house, everything was quiet. It seemed like everyone was sleeping or either not here. Why were we rushed here as if there was a war going on? Bruce led me upstairs and into a spare bedroom. "Okay, this is where I leave you. I have to make sure it's secure and well-guarded, so I won't be far." He said as he neared the door. "Are you doubting my ability to manage my pack?" Dylan said as he entered the room. Bruce crossed his arms and scoffed. "I'll judge you after I inspect the area." I tried to peek behind Dylan to see if Brian was behind him but he wasn't. "I assure you, my pack is safe. No one would dare enter my grounds without permission." Dylan said rolling his eyes and setting down some bags. "Anyways how'd you get here so fast?" Bruce asked. "There's this thing called being a werewolf. We're faster than cars dip shit."
"You're really testing my patience little Alpha. I don't take to kindly to people being rude to me for no reason." Bruce said sizing him up. Dylan growled and did the same. "No reason? You failed at being a guardian for Crystal. I have a damn good reason not to like you." Here we go again. Can't we just have a drama free day? I just want to go to bed.
"Watch it mutt. I don't care what you think of me and how I'm doing my job. If you don't like it then challenge me in taking my guardian spot. Let's see who'll do a better job then." Bruce said while pushing him back and slamming his body against the door. Dylan extended his claws and snarled at him. "Come at me then little boy."
"Okay, enough!" They flinched and stared at me as if they had forgotten I was in the room. "I'm tired, my back hurts, and I don't want to deal with your 'let's see who's dick is bigger' right now. I need to get some sleep, so please go. Let Brian know that I have gone to bed. Let me know what's going on later today, if that's not too much to ask." I slid into bed after pulling back the blanket. When I felt comfortable, I turned to face them and noticed that they were still staring at me. "Are you going to sit there and watch me sleep or something?" I questioned, giggling at their wide-eyed gaze. "Sorry, we'll be leaving now. Our link is open, so please contact me if you require my assistance." Bruce snatched Dylan's arm and dragged him out of the room. "Unhand me, you vile creature!" Before the door closed, I heard a loud snarl. I sighed and leaned back on the plush, soft pillows. I'm curious as to what's going on and why Aurora was still on guard. It must be something very serious for her to be so agitated. I decided to worry about all of that for later. I don't have the energy to deal with this right now.

I opened my eyes to find nothing but darkness. It's extremely cold and damp. I'm not sure where I am. Why can't I move? I looked around to see if I could recognize where I was. There is only a window and four walls. A tiny, round window. It looks to be facing the woods. The only source of light that I have is coming from the moon. Is this someone's dungeon? I tried to stand, but the shooting pain in my wrists and ankles made me wince. When I looked down, I noticed that I was chained up. My wrists and ankles were exposed to the wolfs bane-laced chains. The one around my waist was being blocked by my shirt. What is happening? "Aurora?" I shut my eyes to concentrate on getting in touch with her. Nothing. I don't feel anything. Not even her presence. "Aurora, please answer me. Please." Still nothing. What's going on? How did I get here? Does Brian know that I'm here? Oh goddess what if he's hurt in some way? Okay. Calm down. Take a deep breath. I closed my eyes and tried to focus on the sounds and smells. It's not a smart idea to lose your cool right now. Just keep calm and attempt to assess the situation. Avoid drawing too much attention to yourself.
I closed my eyes again. I can't currently rely on my other senses because I'm chained up. There was an odor of both fresh blood and rotting flesh. I tried to cover my nose and gagged a little. Listen. Just focus. The only sound I heard was some stumbling above me. Someone went to great lengths to keep me from discovering where I am. I jumped when I heard a scream. It was to my right. Is there another room? I need to get out of here. "Bruce! Bruce can you hear me!?" I held my breath in anticipation, hoping he'd answer. Nothing. Our link is closed and I don't feel a connection. "Alpha John! Can you hear me?" I attempted to mind-link him, nothing. Another scream sounded to my left. I jumped and closed my eyes trying to focus on contacting someone from my pack. "James! Please you're my last hope!" I felt a slight tingle in the back of my head. I gasped and tried again. "James! James, are you there? I believe I was kidnapped. I have no idea where I am, and the air smells so bad you would probably throw up. You have a weak stomach so send someone else in here when you get to me. Anyways, I can only see a window and there are no scents that I can identify. Please help me. I didn't mark Brian yet so please let him know so he can come scare, whoever kidnapped me, away." The sensation had grown stronger, and I could hear a faint voice in my head. "You're . . . I know . . . Coming."
