As Shannon left her son behind in the diner with his friends, she noticed him watch her leave. He knew she was familiar to him but in what way he was unsure, before anything could come of it, she left. Upon a safe distance, she looked back and watched her son laugh with his friends as Noctis introduced Phoebe to them, seeing his smiling face brought warmth and joy to her ever yearning heart.

"There you are, little sunshine...Keep that smile bright. We will be reunited someday, that i promise."

By the time the rain cleared up, it was already getting to night time and having bonded with her own scourge, she used it to mask her scent from the daemons and walked through Leide. She finally made it to the hunter HQ up the road from Hammerhead and met with Cor, telling him about Phoebe's safe union with her father and asked him if he had been the one who cared for Prompto all these years, her mind needing answers.

"I see, good, so the princess made it to her father." Cor nodded and crossed his arms.

"I also saw him there. Little Sunshine. Prompto." Shannon nodded as well as she placed her hands on her hips. "He's all grown up now. Have you been the one looking after him?"

"I have. King Regis ensured he was looked after growing up so i left him meals when he needed it and ensured he kept a roof over his head so his bills all came to me." Cor explained to her.

Shocked, she stepped back but then smiled and bowed. "Thank you Cor, I really appreciate it."

"You should be with him. Reunite. Bond. You can't hide from him forever Shannon."

"But, what about his safety?"

"He's shown to be a capable fighter and he's got his friends if anything happens. Don't keep running from him."

Shannon thought a moment. "Knowing his mother is an ex-imperial soldier. There's no telling how he'll take it."

"Never know if you don't try, first things first though, you need a fresh change of clothes. Lets get you a more casual attire."

"Right." Shannon nodded as she followed him to the clerk nearby and got some fresh clothing for her and she hid behind the nearby building to change only to emerge with a fresh new look. "Well? how do i look?" Shannon had changed from her niflheim garb to now wearing a vest top, her code print covered with a sweat band, with a cropped denim sleeveless jacket with long black denim jeans and combat boots. Her weapon was now a gun for ranged combat and a sword for melee combat.

"Like a Lucian. Now, wait here. Noctis and his friends will be coming here tomorrow, so get some rest and meet me outside the royal tomb." Cor instructed, giving her a tent for her to use at the campsite nearby and sent her on her way. Once her tent was set up, she laid down inside it and smiled a bit, unable to wait for her son to arrive. Oh, how she had missed him all these years. All the missed birthdays, missing his first words, missing his first steps, his first photo, his first everything, but no more. She planned on making up for lost time now.

Once she fell asleep, she was not aware it was morning until she saw light coming into her tent from the sunrise and her alarm going off, she then set to work, taking down her tent and putting it back where Cor got it from then went to meet him at the tomb.

"You made it, good." Cor greeted her, his arms crossed as he looked ahead. "Now we wait here."

"Indeed." Shannon agreed as she sat down on the steps. This was the most agonizing part, The waiting. It felt like an eternity before they heard the cars engine and sure enough, soon, the boys and Phoebe arrived, Prompto seeing the woman who left the diner as they entered.

"You again?" Prompto gasped.

"Right, we'll all wait here, Prompto, Shannon here wants to talk with you, alone." Cor instructed them.
