Upon returning to the group, they entered the tomb, one after another, Phoebe let go of her fathers hand and everyone stood around the royal arm before them.

"So, you wanna tell me what i'm here for?" Noctis sighed, not exactly wanting to deal with dead kings given the fact his own father, King Regis, had died not too long ago.

Phoebe, now concerned, looked at her father, taking an innocent and scared looking stance.

"The power of kings, passed from the old to the new through the bonding of souls. One such soul lies before you, to claim your forebears power is your birthright and duty as king." Cor explained.

"My duty as king of what exactly? Insomnia isn't exactly in the best condition and Lucis itself doesn't fare much better." Noctis grumbled.

"Dad.." Phoebe gasped as everyone looked to him.

"Now is not the time to question your calling." Cor began his lecture. "A king is sworn to protect his people."

"And yet he chose to protect only one prince. Was that his calling? forsake the masses to spare his own son?" Noctis began to growl.

Seeing her father getting angry and upset she closed her eyes and looked down as she silently spoke with Naomi through telepathy. 'Naomi... Daddy is getting angry, he needs some guidance... Mr. Cor isn't being very nice to daddy.'

'I shall try, though it would require i take control of your body.' Naomi explained to the young girl, knowing the strain it would put on her.

'Do it. It's for daddy.'

'Very well.'

As Cor went to lecture Noctis more, a bright light lit up the room, surprise claiming everyones faces.

"It cannot be, The Lucian Angel?" Cor gasped as everyone looked to Phoebe, seeing the royal arms, all of them, making up the angels wings.

Looking up at everyone and opening her eyes, Phoebe looked directly at everyone, her eyes glazed over with a crystalized look.

"Call me Naomi, Cor Leonis." Naomi spoke, her voice coming from Phoebe's mouth as it moved to form the words. "She called me forth to speak with King Noctis."

"Phoebe summoned you? How?" Noctis was baffled at the sight before him. "Dad told me you vanished a few years before i was born."

"I did. I was banished by the fire god, Ifrit under the command of another. For 10 long years, i was alone in the abyss of lost souls, until Phoebe was born. It was then i was cast out of the abyss and sent to live with Phoebe upon her birth. I am forced to live and eventually die trapped within her, though i do not regret a single second i spend along side her. It allows an immortal being like myself to appreciate life again." Naomi explained, giving them all a smile but then took Noctis's hands and stroked them with her thumbs as she spoke. "Noctis...Chosen King, take heed of my words."

Noctis looked at her, a saddened expression claiming his face as he gripped her hands, tears forming in his eyes.

"I speak to you now, not as the angel, but your friend and ally. You are king, one cannot lead by standing still, a king must push onward, always, accepting the consequences and never looking back. Tis a lesson i myself, as a queen, was slow to learn. My beloved Somnus, he knew not the consequences of his actions, yet i know he bares no grudge. Were he here, he would tell you to forge ahead with the powers of the kings of old within you. Phoebe and i shall ever remain at your side, as will your comrades. King Regis entrusted the role of protector of the people to you and your friends." Naomi stroked his cheek as she spoke, seeing his tears form and decided to wipe them away.
