Authors Note~

Hey everyone! Thank you for reading, for those of you wondering when the tv story line is going to start, it will start in the next chapter so thank you for holding on though Wendi's introduction to the world. I wanted to get into the main story faster but the more I wrote it felt to rushed and awkward to just start it, so I chose to have this establishing bit before Wenesday enters the story.

Wednesday Netflix storyline will start next chapter, 05

"Ms. Hendricks, Lets start with why you went into the wood..." The chief of police asked Wendi as she stood outside an ambulance in the middle of the woods roughly a mile from the school.

It was 4 in the morning and Wendi was dressed in pajama shorts and a tank without anything on her feet and wrapped in a blanket that was given to her by the EMTs.

"I-um, I woke up then couldn't sleep and went for a walk. I didn't really pay attention to where I was going but the next thing, I knew I was here and that was in front of me." Wen stated as she pointed into the general direction of where the dismembered body of a hiker was scattered on the ground and in the bushes.

"I understand that, but why did you go to the woods. You should know they are currently restricted." He almost scolded the nervous shaking girl.

"I didn't think I was..." She replied in a small whisper as she looked down to her feet.

"Look you're not in any trouble, I'm just saying were lucky you didn't get hurt too. You didn't see anything?"

"No, but when I first woke up, I thought I heard a bear or something. It was so clear though so I thought I was hearing things; I mean it was like it came from the room next to me."

Just as Wen finished speaking a car door was slammed shut as Principal Weems was seen running to the girl. "Wendi!" she cried and she gripped the girls' arms slightly shaking her as blurbs of "Are you alright?" and "Were you hurt?" ran from her lips.

"Principal Weems, can I have a word with you?" The chief asks as another EMT approaches Wendi to check on her.

Wendi was beginning to think she was descending to experience never ending trauma. First her school, now a dead hiker, Wendi was already having trouble being in school but now she had to fear a monster in the woods as well.

After talking more with the officers then later principal Weems, Wen was allowed to go home as she actually didn't have any sound information on the incident. Back at school she checked the internet finding that this wasn't the first death recently and that there was believed to be a series of bear attacks. This only added to her discomfort as she already had so much running through her mind.

Walking through the hallways to class she's stopped by Xavier and a boy she remember. Looking up to see the two boys in front of her standing awkwardly. Xavier stared at Wen waiting for a reply.

"Um, you okay?"

"Oh, yeah!"

"Alright... do you have a copy of the botonny notes? I misplaced mine and Rowan needs them next period?"

"No but you can use mine. Just make sure to give them back." Wen says with a smile as she reached into her bag pulling out her printed copy of the recent flowers they were going over.

"Thanks, you're a life saver." Rowan said as he took the notes before heading off.

"I can get them back to you in study hall." Xavier says as he continued to stand in front of the girl. Looking at her haphazard appearance. "You sure your okay, kind of look like you just woke up from a gorgon stoning?"
