"Your music is really nice." Wendi says earning a nod of thanks from Wednesday.

"Why aren't you wolfing out?" Wednesday asks.

"Because I can't." Enid replies extending her claws, "It's all I got. My mom says some wolves are late bloomers, but I've been to the best Lycan-ologist. "What happens then?"

"Tell us the last time your cried Wendi, it's only fair." Wednesday pushed. "If I had to share mine you have to share yours."

Wendi froze a bit, "I... um, I cry pretty much every night."

Wednesday looks at her in disgust while Enid pats her back. "You don't have to talk about it."

"No, it's okay. Like Wednesday said its only fair." Wendi carried on, telling Wednesday about her last school and the trauma she'd been through. The two-girl listening to every word with intrigue and wonder or fear and empathy.

When she was finished Wednesday thanked her, "I apologize that, that had happened to you." She said causing both girls to step back in shock.

"Thanks Wednesday, that means a lot."

Before they knew it, the weekend was there and Jericho's Harvest Festival was about to start. Wendi however was barely hanging on anymore. Her chest was on fire making her want to just cry and scream but she held it in, not wanting to miss out on the fun.

The school was brought to the festival on a big bus, Enid and her stuck together planning to spend their night together. After exiting the bus, the girls met up with Wednesday one last time to check if she truly wanted to go through with escaping the school.

"Well, good luck and safe travels. Still not a hugger. Got it." Enid said while trying to hug the gloomy girl.

"It's been fun, Write letters to us. We'd love to hear about where you end up." Wendi chimes in.

Shortly after the girls separate off to enjoy the rides and food. Unfortunately, Wendi reaches her limit on the insistent pain in her chest.

"Enid I'll be right back." She speaks moving away from the bubbly girl/

"Where are you going were almost up in line." She yells

"I won't be long. Promise!" Wendi yells back running now, looking for a secluded space.

While running she bumps into Bianca, muttering a sorry before continuing on without a second glance causing the girl to attempt to follow her.

Just outside the festival in the woods a little ways Wendi collapse to the ground eventually letting out a ragged scream. As she takes a breath, she realizes the pain stopped and her surrounds became quite and peaceful. A smile spread across her face and she finally didn't have the pain nipping at her any longer.
