Wendi walked up toward the archery practice area with Wednesday. As Xavier comes into view he releases his arrow letting fly to the target.

"Huh. You actually showed up. Ever shot a bow and arrow before?" he asks Wednesday as he turns to her.

"Only on live targets." She responds with I straight face, Wendi wondering if she was being sarcastic or not.

"Okay." Xavier says deciding to ignore her, glancing at Wendi as he truns to draw his bow. "Square stance. Load the arrow like this, yellow side out. Three fingers. Pull back and... let it fly." He continued as he released another arrow. "Any questions?"

"When's the last time you saw your roommate Rowan?" Wednesday says disregarding him.

"You mean the one that was killed by a monster? The Harvest Festival." He replies watching her take his bow and prepping to shoot. "I haven't talked to him since. But his side of the room was all packed this morning. Rowan's always been a little off, but, uh, the last couple weeks he's been more erratic. You know, telekinesis can mess with your head, you know. He's... It started to freak me out."

With his reply Wednesday says nothing causing Xavier to continue speaking. "So, what's the deal with you and Tyler?" She looked at him still without an answer, "I'm sorry, were you the only one who got to ask non-archery questions?"

"There is no deal. He was doing me a favor driving me out of town." She answers bluntly.

"Yeah, word of advice. Steer clear."

Wendi began to get uncomfortable at this point. Thoughts flooding her head asking why she agreed to follow Wednesday. Especially since she was no help.

"Why? Because he's a normie?" Wednesday spoke almost fanning the tension.

"Tyler and his friends are jerks. They can't stand that this school's propping up their Podunk town."

"Says the boy whose life was served on a silver platter."

"Hey, girls in glass houses..." Xavier starts but it cut off by Wednesday.

"Should throw bigger stones. At least I'm not an elitist snob." She says as she shoots the arrow dead center of the target before walking away. Wendi looks at Xavier with an uncomfortable smile before shuffling after her.

"Wednesday, I have to go do some stuff so I'll meet with you and Enid later?" Wen asks at the two walk down the path toward Wednesdays next destination.

"Alright." She replies causing Wen to turn back and head to the front gate for her therapy session.

The following day Wendi was making her way to class. As she walked in, she noticed Wednesday looking at the plants as she made her way to a seat. Soon Ms. Thornhill walks in and everyone goes for their seats leaving Wednesday awkwardly standing.

After a moment she sit down beside Xavier reluctantly. Wendi looked through her notes not paying attention until Ms. Thornhill broke the silence.

"I doubt Wednesday is impressed by your tricks, Mr. Thorpe." She says before turning toward the chalkboard to start class.

"Admit it, you're a little impressed." He says relatively quietly. Unfortunately for him, she wasn't, Wednesday smack her hand down onto his drawn spider with a thwack causing it to turn to dust.

Xavier closing his notebook as the class begin to laugh quietly at the unexpected reaction. As class began Ms. Thornhill began to ask questions regarding carnivorous plants.

"Ms. Hendricks" she says causing Wendi to look up from her note book. "Can you tell me the name of this?" Ms. Thornhill asks while holding up a plant for the class to see.
