"Wendi, you're not going to believe what Principal Weems just told me!" Enid Said running up to the girl eating breakfast.

"What?"

"I'm getting a roomie! Weems said she'll be starting Monday; this is so exciting!"

"Oh, yeah I don't think I'd every guess that." Wen said with a laugh, "What do you know about her?"

"Not much, her names Wednesday Addams and it looks like he doesn't have socials. Apparently, she got kicked out of her last school for killing a student."

"What?" Wendi stopped eating looking at the girl now sitting across from her in fear.

"I mean that's just what I heard, if you kill someone, you'd be going to jail so it's probably just been exaggerated."

The girls continued their conversation about the new mystery girl arriving in four days with excitement and curiosity. While they chatted, Wendi noticed Xavier walking into the quad, he brought his usual bag of paint and brushed to continue working on his mural.

As he passed by the girls, he gave a small smile to Wendi as she returned it with a small wave. They two weren't close by any means however when they saw another, they'd stop to say hi in passing or sit with another in study hall.

Bianca entered the quad not long after him with her small possie of sirens. The girl nodding to Wen from across the space as she sat at her table. The two not talking much since Bianca questioned her on her resistance to sirens. After Enid's story she did have a small conversation with the girl which resulted in Bianca always watching her from afar. Anyone could tell the blue-eyed siren was intrigued by the girl but just didn't quite know how to get closer to her after her intense accusations and it didn't help that Xavier would talk to her now and then.

Wendi was getting comfortable at the school, everyone mostly ignored her now that they knew what happened to her, some even began to talk to her. Her therapy sessions were going well, slowly being able to open up more. Only downside was the insistent pressure scraping across her chest every night the past few weeks.

She described it to Ms. Kinbott as if someone was cutting her chest open which resulted in her getting over the counter pain medication from the school to remedy the unknown pain. Unfortunately, it didn't help so Wen often didn't take it just trying to ignore it as much as she could.

Monday was there before she knew it, Wendi was waiting in the quad for Enid and her new roommate while she ate oats for breakfast. By the time she finished the two surprisingly hadn't arrived yet until suddenly she heard a very bubbly all too familiar voice.

"Full moons get pretty loud around here. That's when Furs wolf out. I suggest you pick up noise-cancelling headphones." Enid says to a girl dressed in an all-black uniform with two long braids.

Wen stands from her seat making her way over two the two girls.

"I'm assuming Scales are sirens?" The girl speaks in a monotone and uninterested voice.

"You catch on quick. That girl, Bianca Barclay, is the closest thing Nevermore has to royalty." She says while motioning to the girl at the center of the fountain, "Although her crown's been slipping lately. She used to date our resident tortured artist, Xavier Thorpe, but they broke up at the beginning of the semester. Reason unknown."

Enid points to Xavier as he turns watching Wendi walk up to the two girls glancing at them before turning around again.

"Wait, Bianca and Xavier used to date?" Wendi says beside Enid, "Hi, I'm Wendi Hendricks. I'm arrive at the beginning of the semester so I won't be able to help with must but if you need anything let me know." She says with a small smile.
