"Hey." Enid said as she walked into her and Wednesday's dorm room."You're back." Wednesday replied looking at the girl in the doorway.
"I'm gone for a few days, the place gets trashed, and Thing almost dies." Enid begins, "Someone's got to look out for you two."
"What happened to rooming with Wendi?"
"Wendi's great. I just decided I needed a few more boundaries." Enid replies earning an unconvinced look from Wednesday, "It was only temporary, until she was okay again." Enid finishes as she grabs the tape to lay on the floor.
"Skip the tape."
"Don't tell me Wednesday Addams is mellowing out."
"Never." Wednesday replies, "More like evolving. Well, one inch of duct tape at a time."
While the girls were making up, Wendi sat in her room thinking over all the horrible events that had happened, the deaths, getting attacked, Xavier. "Xavier." She whispered to herself as she thought about the things he told her, how he acted, what he said to Wednesday. Nothing made sense and she didn't know if she should believe him or not.
Just as her thoughts began to turn for the worst a knock was heard on her door, getting up to answer, Wendi met Ms. Thornhill in the hall once again.
"Hey!" She began, "Just wanted to check on you. I know you and Xavier seemed close." She finished as she stepped into the room as they made their way to Wendi's bed.
"I just don't understand, my minds having a lot of trouble wrapping around it all." Wen said.
"I know, but all that evidence. I'm actually relieved he didn't hurt you." She told the girl.
"No, Xavier would hurt me, he was helping me. We were helping each other." Wendi stated.
"Helping you?"
"Made me feel normal, everyone's so nice but I know how they look at me. He was different." Wendi said as she realized mis Thornhill along with most didn't know about her suspicion on having an ability. An ability only Xavier was truly updated on.
At her thoughts Wendi paused, 'was that why he didn't want to tell the others about what. I heard, what I felt?' she thought to herself.
"Wendi don't beat yourself up. Despite how much I love them and want to uplift them, outcasts are different than us. You and I are the outsiders here." She says comforting the stressed girl in her arms.
However, Ms. Thornhills words didn't sit well with Wen. She knew the older women was only trying to comfort her but still didn't like the insinuation that she could be in danger here.
"When I came to Nevermore, romance was the last thing on my mind." Wednesday began as she looked at Tyler who was standing across from her in the woods. His small smile telling her he was happy to see her and glad she hadn't been scared off. "But when you kissed me, you opened my eyes and suddenly it all made sense. "
At her words the boy gave a confused scoff, blushing slightly at her words that sounded to sappy coming from her lips.
"Xavier warned me about you, but I didn't listen." She finished.
"Ironic now, huh?" He said as he went to move in close to her but before he could Wednesday spoke up again.
"Ironic would've been framing Xavier for murder while the real Hyde helped me put him away."
