REGINALD HAD ANNOUNCED to them that the time to catch their breath was officially over. That it was time for them to split up and find the seven bells -- more likely, the seven sigils.

It was not a problem pairing up Lila and Diego. Reginald even insisted them to work with each other instead as nobody would like to hear abrupt quarrels. The others, however, still had to come to a minor disagreement on the arrangements.

At first, the old man teamed up with Allison and Sloane while Ben with Five, Y/N, and Viktor. But after a few short protests and concerns from Five and Viktor about having to work better as they lived under the same roof, Ben and Allison reluctantly exchanged groups.

But it never really was just about being on the same team for years, was it?

Right after the groups had parted ways to look for the hidden sigils, Number Five had already jumped onto the interrogations by the time they entered he first room on the floor they were in. "I saw you and him in the White Buffalo Suite during the wedding." He blurted out after he passive aggressively confronted her.

Viktor was obliged to smooth things over before everything goes sideways, "I don't know if now's the right time--"

"You know, I heard that you blacked out last night." Allison didn't have the audacity to stop without shooting back his assumptions.

Y/N was simply too tired to even listen. She remained standing by the entrance while she stared on the dancing flames in the fireplace. At the same time, she was trying to level down the noise up in her head that was ringing once again.

She was quiet enough to go unnoticed in the heat of the moment, "I did," Five replied, "and it took me a while to remember what I saw, but I do remember Allison. You and Dad had some kind of deal."

He approached the chuckling Allison, in which he ignored as he kept going, "What did you agree to?" He interrogated. As he did, the ringing in Y/N's head became more and more prominent by the second. She couldn't help clench her fists harder than she already has.

"A deal?"

Five hummed in reply.

"With Dad?" Allison trailed off. She acted amused as she tried to manipulate him in the most subtle way, "Please tell me you're joking." She scoffed.

Alas, Viktor knew both of them were too stubborn to be stopped. "He's not." He sighed out, even though he hated to admit it.

This led her to another scoff as she glanced at Y/N, who's been silent the whole time. Until she looked back at her with deadpanned eyes, "Just answer his damn question." She breathed out, letting go of her strong grip on the air.

"You're out of your mind." Allison rebuked to the boy. It was evident that she was only avoiding the question.

Five just pressed on to the fact of what he saw with his own eyes, "You and Dad make a deal, now Luther's dead." He stated.

Allison couldn't be more ridiculed, "Okay." She chuckled nervously, being fully aware that she was being cornered. "Luther was killed by whatever the hell that thing is." She repeated Reginald's alibi, even if she disagreed with it.

"And Klaus?"

"He didn't make it into the tunnel." Allison answered with another lie. Her thoughts altogether with the ringing in Y/N's head was making her want to scream, but she felt obligated to suppress it instead.
