"Is it good?" Key asked as she eyed Sage's plate.
He groaned before pushing it towards her.
"Bruh here."
She smiled before digging her fork into the dish.
"Mmm, it's good. You wanna try some of mine?"
He nodded and watched her put some on his fork.
"Sooo.."
He looked up at her "Sooo?"
"How's the studio going?" She asked.
"Good.. Baby tryna slide next week." He said making her smile, he knew that was her favorite rapper.
"Imma meet him this time?"
He nodded "Mhm."
"You so goatedddd." She cheesed harder.
"Lemme take yo picture." He said.
She dropped her smile and posed causing him to shake his head.
"Nah, smile. You be hiding that shit, it's pretty."
She smiled and he snapped a few pictures on his phone.
"So what's going on wit school? PV still a go?" He asked.
"I'm going to PV.." she told him, causing him to smile.
He definitely supported her and wanted her to chase her dreams, but he didn't want her too far from him. Hearing that she was staying in Texas made him happy.
"Type shit." He nodded.
"My birthday next weeeek." She said for the 100th time.
"We know." He groaned.
"I just love my birthday!" She laughed.
He chuckled before pulling a box out of his pocket.
"Hmm.. happy early birthday." he said, sliding it across the table.
She opened it to find a diamond tennis bracelet.
"Awww this is so nice, Sage." She smiled. "Put it on me."
He grabbed her arm then clasped the bracelet on her wrist.
"You spoil me sooo much."
"You do the same." He shrugged.
Which was true, every birthday since they were small she always got him something heartfelt.
The two had known each other since she was in kindergarten, and from there they became the best of friends. She helped him through his mom's death in 4th grade and he ended up helping her through hers.
