CHAPTER ELEVEN —— FROM
HERE TO WAY OVER THERE

"DID YOU GUYS COPY THAT?" Everyone responded to the man with a yes as Hazel got into position on her bike.

"I got a private jet taking off, across town, no manifest. That could be him." Clint looked through the glass and into he busy streets, noticing a truck heading across the bridge.

"There. It's a truck from the lab. Right above you, Cap. On the loop by the bridge. It's them. I got three with the Cradle, one in the cab. I could take out the driver."

"Negative! If that truck crashes, the gem could level the city. We need to draw out Ultron." Hazel grinned, telling her brother to get lower to the ground so she could get out and help Steve. The Barton man nodded, flying down towards the busy streets as Steves voice rang in her ears. "He's definitely unhappy. I'm gonna try to keep it that way." Hazel chuckled as Clint spoke into his comm, telling the super soldier he was no match for the robot. "Thanks, Barton."

"Nat, you coming?" The older woman nodded with a grin as she walked over to the back of the jet, where her bike was, right next to Hazels.

"We got a window, ladies. Four, three, give him hell." Hazel yelled in a cheer as she and Nat were dropped from the jet into moving traffic, a grin as she weaved through cars and trucks. Her eyes were quickly drawn to a piece of vibranium sitting on the street, catching Nats attention, pointing to it. The Romanoff woman shook her head, speaking into the comms.

"Always the ladies picking up after you boys." Hazel grinned as Nat tossed her the shield, the younger girl placing it on her back like Steve did.

"They're heading under the overpass. I've got no shot." Nat quickly talked to the man, asking him which way before hey both took a hard right. Soon enough, the two woman catch up to the truck, Hazel using the super soldiers shield to knock Ultron away from him. Suddenly, Nat is forced to stop as Hazel speeds to keep up with the truck, the guards shooting at her.

"Hey Birdie, think you can you draw out the guards?"

"Let's find out." Out of nowhere, the Quinjet begins to shoot at Ultron from above the overpass, the two guards in the truck flying out, leaving the cradle unattended. The Barton girl hesitated for a moment, debating on wether or not to go into the truck or not when she heard two voices.

"Don't you think about it, Hazel."

"Not a chance, Haze. Just stay with the truck." The girl softly grinned as she held her hand up to Ultron, her shadows rushing toward him and pushing him off of the super soldier, just for him to stop himself. The robot flew at Steve, shoving him into a nearby train. "The guards are heading back towards you guys."

"I'm going in. Cap, can you keep him occupied?" Hazel heard the man huff through the comm, asking her what she thought he was doing. "Hazel, new priority. Stay with the train."

"Yes, ma'am." The younger red head revved her back as she drove faster, completely being missed by the officers lining up in front of the truck. "Nat, you've got company." The two guards flew back down toward their the truck, tucking themselves under to lift it over the line of police.

"The package is airborne. I have a clean shot."

"Negative. I am still in the truck." Hazel groaned as she spoke into her comm, telling the blonde in the train there was no way she would be of help to him this far from the train.

"Well, do what you gotta do. Use what you've been working on." Hazel beamed in excitement as she held one of her hands out, her shadows growing on the semi clear street, almost creating a ramp for her. She had been working on being able to use her shadows to her advantage, more so than they already were. Hazel smiled as she took a deep breath and revved her bike, but in a second she was on the train. "That works too." The girl looked around to see Steve and Ultron on the floor, Wanda in the doorway at the end or the train car and Pietro right next to her.

"I didn't get to test that out, asshole." Pietro smirked as his sister used her powers to block Ultron from getting a chance to move closer to them.

"Please, don't do this."

"What choice do we have?" Ultron turned to Hazel and Pietro, holding his hand up, making Hazels' eyes widened. As he shot a beam of energy, the girl pushed Pietro to the floor of the moving train, the beam going straight through the train. Within seconds, the robot had flown out of the train, leaving the four with each other. Pietro groaned as he opened his eyes, feeling a pain in his back.

"Thanks for breaking my fall, Sonic." The Sokovian grinned at the sight of Hazel getting up from her spot on top of him. "Here." The red headed girl held her hand out for the man on the floor who gladly took it, letting her pull him off the floor.

"Thanks for the heads up, red." Hazel rolled her eyes as she heard the worried voice of her brother through her comm.

"Hey guys, can either of you see Nat?" The girl looked out the hole in the side wall of the train as Steve looked out the front, the train suddenly jolting off the tracks and into the city.

"If you have the package, get it to Stark! Go!"

"Do you have eyes on Nat?" Steve didn't answer the man, just yelling at him to go before turning to the twins and Hazel.

"Civilians in our path." The Sokovian boy didn't think twice before speeding out of the train to go move everyone out of the way. "Can you two stop this thing?" The two girls looked at each other, Hazel nodding her head with a grin on her face.

"You pull the train back and we'll push, okay?" Wanda nodded her head in approval as Hazel headed towards the front of the train, taking a deep breaths as she closed her eyes. She conjured her shadows to push against the front of the train, engulfing it into its black smoke. The Sokovian girl let her powers engulf the train from under, pulling it backwards to stop it from moving forward. Within a few seconds, the to girls managed to stop the train, bystanders helping the civilians off the train. Wanda quickly made her way over to her brother, who was hunched over trying to catch his breath as Steve and Hazel followed.

"I'm fine. Just need to take a minute."

"I'm very tempted not to give you one." Hazel rolled her eyes with a scoff as the twins looked at Steve, asking if he had gotten the cradle. "Stark will take care of it." Wanda just shook her head as Pietro tried to catch his breath, the girl telling Steve he won't. "You don't know what you're talking about. Stark's not crazy."

"Steve."

"He will do anything to make things right." Steve sighed, turning away from the three twenty year olds, calling for Stark over comms.

"Anyone on comms?"

"Right here, popsicle. I'm the only one on." Hazel heard a soft and quiet chuckle leave the platinum blonde beside her as his sister began to speak.

"Ultron can't tell the difference between saving the world and destroying it. Where do you think he gets that?"
