"You're making me go too?" I groaned.

"Yes, because we're all fucking going Matt, you need to get over this." Nick snapped back.

"Nick I don't fucking like her." I rolled my eyes.

"Well that too damn bad isn't it. I don't like some of the girls you hang out with but do I complain? Fucking no. She's my best friend. Deal with it." Nick slammed his hand on the counter.

"Yeah mine too, I love Ava, she's cool." Chris smiled.

"Whatever," I stormed into my room.

I didn't want to go this weekend, but here we are, dragged into another event that Avalon is going to. Why do I hate her? She just pisses me off, there we is, smiling, being nice and shit and it's so god damn annoying, I love it. I pulled my English homework out of my bag and started to work on it, when Nick stormed into my room.

"Fucking knock much?" I asked.

"No. Anyway, I just talked to Ava, we're going dress and suit shopping Saturday, capeesh?" He wasn't really asking.

"Fine." I looked back at my homework.

"Okay, goodnight I love you," Nick grinned at me.

"Goodnight Nick," I laughed.

"I love you,"

"I heard you the first time Nick,"

"Fucking say it back then," 

"I love you too, Nick." I let out another laugh.

He gave an accomplished smile and shut my door behind him when he left. I finished my homework and laid down in bed opening my phone to a text in our group chat with everyone for Saturday. When I saw Avalon's name pop up I rolled my eyes and just left the group chat on seen. I scrolled on TikTok for a while till I saw that Chris sent me a TikTok.

"Literally you and Ava," I read the text outloud and clicked the tiktok.

'When the two people in the group that swear they hate each other then just realize they're in love' the TikTok read and I fake gagged.

"FUCKING ABSOLUTELY NOT CHRIS!" I yelled and heard him cackle from his room.

"STOP YELLING ITS 12:30 IN THE MORNING!" Mom yelled from the living room.

"SORRY MOM!" I yelled back.

I definitely am not in love with Avalon, everything she does just pisses me off. The way she walks, the way she speaks, the way she's smiling all the time, the way she is always trying to make people happy, it pisses me off so much. I continued to scroll on TikTok for about another hour before I finally called it quits.

"FUCKING WAKE UP IT'S TIME FOR SCHOOL!" Chris jumped on my bed and I punched him in the face.

"Never wake me up like that again," I groaned.

"Don't punch me that's fucking rude." 

"Too fucking bad," I laughed.

I got up and got dressed for school and grabbed food from the kitchen and got ready to go. 

"HURRY UP WE'RE GONNA BE LATE!" I yelled through the house.

Nick and Chris ran down the stairs and we all left to the van.

"Can we swing by and pick up Ava? Her car stopped working." Nick asked.

"She better walk then, it's not my fucking problem." 

"Matt stop being such an asshole come on." Nick pleaded.

I groaned and turned down Avalon's road and pulled into her driveway and saw her sitting on her front step and I rolled down my window.

"Fucking hurry up or I'm leaving you here," I said out the window.

She gave me a look and got in the car.

"Are you going to say thank you? You know, I didn't need to pick you up." i huffed.

She looked in the mirror and gave me a sarcastic smile, "Thank you."

We drove to school and I looked in my mirror to see that she was looking out the window with her headphones in and she looked like she was about to cry.

"Why are you being so silent, are you alright Ava?" Nick asked.

"Yeah, I'm fine." She quickly answered.

I didn't feel bad for her, I swear I didn't, I hate her, why the fuck would I feel bad for her. I pulled into my parking spot at the school and she quickly got out of the car and walked into school.

"Why's she acting weird?" I asked Nick.

"Why the hell do you care?" He snapped.

"I don't, I was just wondering god damn-" I widened my eyes.

"It's just strange that all the sudden you're wondering why she's upset," He replied.

"Well. She got her tears on my window." 

"She was crying?" He asked.

"It was quite hard to notice." I rolled my eyes.

"Yeah, okay." Nick scoffed.

We all went our separate ways for classes and just survived another lame day of high school, and all met up after to drive to Alahna's.
