Why did I put a pillow and blanket out for her? I didn't want her to be uncomfortable, that would be rude. That's the only reason why. I don't like that it was brought attention though, I should be able to do something for her without Nick and Chris poking jabs at me. I went into my room so I didn't have to deal with it, but I couldn't stop thinking about how bad I wanted to just be her friend, I want a friendship with her like one that I have with Alahna, where we can just hang out and have fun, but I like it when Ava makes fun of me. I like being able to poke fun at her and her give me the exact energy back, so I'll settle with what we have now. Someone knocked at my door and I told them to come in, hoping it wasn't Ava.

"Hey can we talk?" I heard her voice.

well fuck.

"Uh, yeah sure." I turned to her.

"Thank you," She smiled at me.

"Huh, oh, yeah that, you're welcome, honestly its not a big deal." I gave me a small smile.

"So uh, i wanted to actually talk to you about something." She spoke.

"Hm?" I hummed.

"Well, you know, how we like agreed to being frenemies and everything, well like, you know, what if we were just friends." She smiled at me.

"Huh?" I asked.

"Like, fuck the frenemies thing, I'm not going to lie, one of the reasons I was so mean, is because I was jealous of the relationship you have with Alahna, and how close you guys are and stuff, like how you can just hug whenever and stuff you know?" She was rambling which I thought as funny.

"I agree, I want to have a just friendship with you, I mean like, it would be really nice. I'm not going to lie to you though, I like when we make fun of each other, I find it fun." I let out a small laugh.

"Then we'll still do that," She smiled.

"Alright deal." I gave her a smile.

"Are you okay?" I asked her.

"Yeah, I guess." She replied.

"You can talk to me about what ever Ava," I smiled at her, "I've never been in your situation, but I'm a good listener."

"Thanks Matt," She gave me a wide smile, "Now stop fucking calling me Avalon."

"Yes ma'am." I laughed at her. 

I stood up and gave her a hug and she hugged me back. 

"Thank you for comforting me last night," She mumbled into my chest.

"You're welcome, I'm happy you're a little better now." I rested my chin on the top of her head.

Nick and Chris busted through the door with huge smiles on their face.

"What the fuck do you want," I groaned.

"YOU'RE FINALLY BEST FRIENDS WHOOOOO!" Chris and Nick cheered.

Ava and I both laughed and we all hung out in my room for a while. We all migrated to the living room at one point and were watching tv together and I had gotten up to go to the bathroom, but when I came back I went and sat down neck to Ava, and she smiled.

"It's okay that I sit here right?" I asked her.

"Yeah of course." She smiled.

When I sat back so did she and Nick moved over to sit next to her, and Chris came and sat next to me. Chris laid his head on my arm and started to fall asleep, which caused me to get tired all of the sudden. Ava put her head on my shoulder and fell asleep, and I noticed Nick's head was in Ava's lap as he was in deep sleep, snoring. I felt my eyes closing and put my head on top of Ava's. I heard someone walk into the room and by the "Aw" I could tell it was Mom, and by the flash of the camera, but I kept my eyes clothes and fell asleep. A few hours I woke up because I felt away move.

"Oh I'm sorry, I didn't mean to wake you." She smiled at me.

"Oh no it's alright, I didn't even mean to fall asleep. Where did Chris and Nick go?" I asked her.

"That's a great question," She let out a small laugh.

"They went with your mom to go pick up food, they didn't want to wake you both so they left you here, but they should be back soon." Dad called from the kitchen.

"Thank you!" I yelled back.

"You know you remind me of Nick Miller," Ava pipes up.

"From new girl?" I asked.

"Yeah, you act a lot like him." She laughed.

"Oh why because I moon walk my way out of things," I smirked.

"Oh no you don't," She laughed again.

"Then what am I doing right now?" I moon walked out my room, making my arms like waves.

She broke out into a fit of laughter, I just watched her laugh, how big her smile was, how soft the laugh was.

"You remind me of Jess," I blurted out.

"Really?! That's a huge compliment, like really." She grinned.

"Well, good." I smiled at her.

I don't think Matt has seen new girl enough to have made that comment, just wanting to be friends with Ava ;) but anyway I hope you guys enjoyed the chapter!!!
