Singing with Matt was by far the most fun I have had in a while. It was so intimate but not in a weird way. Everyone singing the parts of the song, were so fun. We were all warn out though after and we flopped on the couch. We turned on guess that song on the TV and divided up into groups of two. 

"Matt and Ava, Nick and I, Chris and Nate." Alahna grinned.

"Matt don't worry we'll win," I grinned at him.

"Alright-" He was slightly confused.

"I'm a god at this game, you'll see." I gave him another big smile and we pressed play on the video.

Every single song I got right within the one second we had to guess, and I was the quickest. Matt just stared at me wide eyed and jaw dropped, as did everyone else. Music was my favorite thing in the world. I had such a big connection with it, let alone having such a huge range of music. The game ended and we tallied up the points of everyone, and Team Mava, won. 

"MAVA FOR THE WIN WHOOO LETS GOOOOO!" Matt cheered and gave me a high five.

"You noticed they gave us a ship name right?" I laughed.

"Oh for fucks sake." He slouched back down on the couch.

"COME ON IT WAS CUTE!" Nick grinned.

"No." We both said.

I actually didn't mind it, I thought it was cute, but that's also because I knew I was crushing, I was down bad for him not going to lie, us holding hands for that short period of us singing meant so much to me, it was really nice, I liked being able to hold his hand. I moved a little closer to Matt so that our legs were touching each other and he didn't seem to mind. He moved his arm and put it in the back of the couch, and for some reason that made me feel fuzzy. I needed to snap out of this, we were just friends, we weren't going to be anything more because I knew he didn't feel the same.

"We should play truth or dare, Matt give me your root beer bottle," Chris took Matt's bottle out of his hand.

"Hey, I was drinking that-" Matt acted offended.

"Too bad," Chris stuck his tongue out.

Nick pulled me and had me sit next to him in the circle. We all took a few turns and people kept choose truth, because they were lame. They weren't good truths either, they were small, what's your favorite color type truths. I finally got landed on to pick truth or dare, and I was going to put my big girl pant on and take a challenge.

"Alright, Ava, truth or dare." Nate asked.

"Dare." I smirked.

"I dare you to kiss Matt," He returned the smirk, and my eyes widened.

Everyone went silent, and I shook my head no.

"Yeah, absolutely not, give her a different one, because if I was to kiss Ava, it wouldn't be like this." Matt blurted out.

"What?" I was shocked.

What did he mean? Everyone was slightly shocked about what Matt had said, but we just continued the game. We played for about another hour then Alahna and Nate left to go back home. 

"You guys want to go get food?" Nick asked. 

We all agreed and went to the car, piled in, and drove to chick fil a. We all ordered and ate in the parking lot making each other laugh, for about 2 hours. We finally decided to go back to the house and just chill out for a bit. We all sat in the living room and watched a movie together because Nick and Chris complained that they were tired. Nick and Chris turned in for the night and I got the blanket and pillow I've been using and set up the couch. 

"Coming to say goodnight," I stopped in front of Matt's door.

"Oh, goodnight." He gave me a smile.

I walked into the living room and I felt like someone was behind me, so I turned around and saw Matt. I jumped a little and gave him a strange look.

"It's going to kill me if I don't fucking do this," He whispered and walked up to me, inches from my face.

"Uh, what?" I asked.

"Just shut up," He laughed and put a hand on my cheek.

He leaned in and kissed me and without hesitation I kissed him back. I felt nothing but sparks, it was by far the best kiss I had ever experienced. He slowly pulled away from the kiss and looked me in there eyes.

"That's how I would do it," He whispered.

I nodded and he walked away into his room. I flopped onto the couch and just stared up at the ceiling, a grin plastered on my face. Holy shit.

I HOPE YOU GUYS ENJOYED THIS CHAPTER!!!!!!!!!!! I am so happy we're at the part of the book where something happened, but will they bring light to it again? Who knows.
