We had a week left until graduation, I had one last week of true childhood until I was shot into the real world. It was 2:30 in the morning and I wasn't able to sleep, so I texted the group chat to ask if they wanted to go to the park.

I threw a sweatshirt on and went down to my car and started driving to Nate's house, then went to go pick up Alahna.

"I'm half asleep," Nate mummbled in the back.

I quickly swerved and he jerked awake, "You aren't now."

Alahna laughed really loud and he glared at me. We pulled up to the triplets house and I texted Matt that we were hear and they all filed out to greet us.

"Ava sits in the front," Matt yawned.

We all got into the van and started driving to the closest park.

"Alright we're gonna play store, I'm gonna be owning the ice cream shop." I laughed.

"I'm working with her, we're the owners, and the triplets and Nate are the rival cake store." Alahna laughed.

We went under the playset to where the fake cash register was. We sat down there and Matt came strolling up to the counter.

"Why hello there, can I have one scoop of cherry ice cream?" Matt used a fake accent.

"Here u go sir, that'll be 250 dollars, and I, wrote my number on the cup." I winked.

"Here you go, thank you very much." He smirked.

We played like children for about 2 hour until Nick and Chris were asleep on a slide and Alahna was asleep in the playground tower, and Nate was asleep on the swing. Matt and I were the only two awake now, we were just laying with each other in a slide.

"Are you afraid?" I asked.

"Huh?"

"You know, afraid of only having a week of childhood next week," I sighed.

"No, not really, I mean I have my family, and I have you, you're the most important part of my future." He spoke softly. 

"You're right," I let out a small sigh of relief.

"You're so pretty," I could see his face in the dim moonlight.

"I love you," I whispered.

"I love you more," He leaned down and kissed me.

"YOU KIDS SHOULDN'T BE HERE!" Two cops sped up with their lights on, speaking through their mics. 

"OH FUCK!" Matt and I got out of the tube slide and met with the rest of them who were standing all half asleep. 

"Why are you guys here? You guys doing drugs?" The one cop was very rude.

"No we came because this is our last week before graduation, last big hurrah." I rudely responded.

"I suggest you don't talk to me like that little girl," He snapped.

"Don't talk to her like that, she's still a high schooler calm down, you kids gotta go, its nothing you did, its just against policy no on the park after dark," The other cop was super chill. 

"Oh, alright, we're very sorry." Matt replied.

"Everyone was asleep weren't they," The nice cop laughed.

"Yeah," Nick sleepily answered.

"You guys have a great night," 

They left and we all piled into the van. 

"Can I stay at your place tonight?" I sleepily asked.

"Of course," Matt gave me a smile.

We went and dropped Alahna and Nate off and then drove back to the triplets. I had fallen asleep on the way back but when we arrived Matt came over to my side and carried me, bridal style, into the house. I smiled against him and we went into his room and he laid next to me in bed.

"Goodnight my future wife," He kissed my cheek and pulled me close to him.
