Avalon was going weird. She was being nice to be, it wasn't normal. She's normally such a bitch to me, I mean, we're mean to each other, but she was being nice. She was smiling at me, and she said good morning to me, and at the dress shop she was being so nice to me, asking if I had found what I was looking for, and when she walked out in that gorgeous green dress, she asked for my opinion. She looks so pretty, and even more pretty in the black dress. I mean any girl looks pretty because all women are pretty, Avalon isn't special.

"You know you should be nicer to her," Nick whispered to me.

"Why because she's being nice to me?" I asked him.

"Yeah, maybe she's trying to be friends finally. You know end this stupid feud." Nick replied.

"But I don't want to me nice." I replied.

"Oh yeah you do, you're just being an asshole." Nick rolled his eyes. 

"Fine. I'll be nicer." I moved my hands mocking my tone. 

"What does everyone want to eat for lunch?" Avalon chimed in.

"I don't really care, you can pick." I gave her a real smile.

Maybe Nick was right, maybe I was done with this feud thing, I was tired of always fighting with her, I enjoyed her company, I wanted to have a friendship with her maybe, but I want to keep the aspect of poking fun at each other, because I find it quite fun. She gave me a smile back and we all chose on going to some local pizza place in the mall. When we sat down I was sat neck to Chris and noticed an open seat was next to me and Avalon hadn't sat down.

"Ava, you can sit next to me if you want." I found the courage to say.

"What did you call me?" She had a tone of shock in her voice.

"I called you your nickname, are you hard of hearing?" I asked.

She grinned, "I guess I am."

"Look at them they're being nice to each other," I heard Alahna whisper to Nick.

"You aren't good at whispering Alahna," I laughed.

"After we're done eating yall want to come chill at my place?" Alahna asked.

"I'm down," I smiled.

"I'm staying there for the weekend so yeah,"

Everyone else agreed to going to Alahna's after, and when we finished eating I drove everyone to Alahna's so we could all hang out. When we got there we all went to the back yard. We all laughed and joked with each other outside until Ava said she was going inside to get something to drink. 

"I'm thirsty too, I'm going to go get something to drink." I went inside and saw her by the fridge and took a deep breath, "Hey."

"Me? Hey me? Do you mean me?" She looked around the kitchen.

"Yes, you." I let out a laugh.

"Oh, uh, hey." She smiled and walked towards the door.

"I UH- I uh actually wanted to talk to you," I touched her arm.

Time felt like it slowed for a second when she turned to face me, and I quickly took my hand off her arm.

"I'm done feuding too," She smiled at me.

"Really?" I asked.

"Yeah, but, I still wanna give you shit from time to time, you know, poke fun at each other." She smiled.

"Well no way, so do I." I laughed.

"We could be like Damon and Elena, frenemies." She smiled. 

"Yeah with uh without the whole relationship thing," I nervous laughed.

"Oh yeah, uh def." She nervous laughed.

"So, frenemies?" I asked sticking out my hand.

"Frenemies," She smiled and gave me a hug.

I tensed up for a second, but then untensed and hugged her back. We both walked out laughing and smiling with each other, causing everyone to stare at us.

"What." I asked.

"You're laughing, and smiling, with each other- does this mean?" Nate asked.

"THE FEUD IS OVER WHOOOOOOOOOOO!" Chris cheered.

"NOT QUITE! Not quite!" She stopped him.

"Yeah, we're frenemies." I smiled.

"You know what, I can work with that." Alahna laughed.

"Hey Matt look," Ava called me over to her.

I stood next to her and she pushed me into the pool while laughing. 

"Fuck you," I laughed and pulled her in.

"Oh how the turns have tabled." She laughed.

Everyone else got in the pool too and we all played around. I dunked Ava under water and she pulled me under with her and smiled at me underwater. I smiled back at her and we came back up for air.
