Chapter 63

The rest of the day was a busy one especially for Kayla.
She will have to obtain some useful information from a demon and this might cost her life if she thinks of anything else now that she's already human.

The question just popped in her head and she paced around and thought of what Edgar might be reading in her mind if she says anything.

But she was an expert in doing that but to humans only.
This time,it's only God who can help her.

She then remembered to return the dress to Ezra and quickly,she went to her room.

She came out later with the dress and went to Ezra's room.

There she saw the wardrobe and patiently put the dress down.

"He even has a sister."She said."Wherever she is,she will be just fine."

As she watched the dress,Ezra appeared behind her.

"And what are you doing?"He asked scaring Kayla.

"What? How did you get here?"She said and stood up.

"This is my room and get out."He ordered.

"Hm...I just put the dress in the wardrobe and why are you in such a bad state? Anyways I'm out."

She said and went out leaving Ezra in his room.

Ezra then checked and saw the dress and inhaled its scent.

"I will get you Ariana. It's about time you come to your brother."

Meanwhile Kayla hid behind and heard it.

"Ariana."She said to herself."That's her name."

"Tomorrow is the grand day."Edgar said to his demons."We must blend in"

"But how?"One of them asked."Zenith and his mentor will be there."

The question just made him frown at it."We're spirits and we can do the impossible now leave."

He told them and each one of them vanished from his face.

"Tomorrow will be my day."He told Petra."For there will be bloodshed."

He too left and headed to see Susan.

"See your girl will be here by tomorrow."He told her."It's her only sister Kayla who will do that for me."

Elias who walked down the hallway saw Edgar so he decided to take a closer peek.
"And what do we have here?"He said to himself."The master is talking to a dead human."

"Elias."Edgar called shocking him
"Come here."Obediently,Elias came to him.

"She's not dead but rather in a comma. Why? Her girl decided to roam around during our time and she decided to take her place."He told Elias."But she's with Zenith."

"And what are we supposed to do?"

"Don't worry about that."Edgar told him."Time will do that."

Finally it was in the evening and everyone was busy.

Leila sat on the staircase and touched her mother's bracelet.
She really missed her.

As she continued, Zenith saw her sitting outside and came to her.

"Taking some fresh air."He guessed and sat down"That's cool."

"Yeah."she said."It's been a long day."
