{2 days later : Matthews house}
{narrator}

"Cory your best friend is such a jerk!" y/n said walking into his room shutting the door behind them

"That jerk is right here" Shawn said turning his lips into a straight line

"I'll come back later" y/n said about to walk out

"No you need to hear this too" Shawn told y/n grabbing her wrist

"Can Claire stay here tonight"  Shawn asked

"No wonder why you wanted me to stay" y/n rolled her eyes walking away but Shawn grabbed her wrist again

"I didn't finish"

Shawn explained to the two how there's nothing going on between them and told them that her dad hits her. y/n was still mad at Shawn for not telling her before and even if he did she won't be fine with it.

A few days have passed and Claire has been staying between Shawn and Cory's place before finally letting her go with her aunt to Vermont

y/n still didn't like this whole situation only because Shawn had been distant from her even in school. Everytime she would try to go talk or hangout with Shawn Claire was there.

Shawn was with Claire more than y/n.

Things were starting to get back to normal expect for y/n and Shawn, they're starting to grow distant

"So 16 huh?" y/n asked topanga leaning against the locker next to hers

"Yeah so your coming still right?"

"Of course I am your my best friend I wouldn't miss it!"

They both smile and started talking about her sweet 16

"y/n come here hurry!" Cory said running grabbing y/n's wrist and brought her to her and Shawn's meet up / make out classroom

"Cory what's goi-" before she could finish her sentence she got pushed it and the door shut

"please don't kill me!" Cory yelled and soon there was a locking sound from both doors

"Cory I'm going to kill you when I get out!" y/n threaten trying to get the door unlocked

"Maybe Cory just wants his best friends to start talking again and be how they used to" Shawn stated with his hands in his pockets

"Well maybe Cory won't have to worry about us anymore if he's dead"

"Ouch I heard that"

y/n rolled her eyes crossing her arms going to sit on a desk.

"like I said many times I'm very and truly sorry! y/n I miss you so much! I missed walking with you in the halls, I miss your laugh and gorgeous smile your kisses" Shawn went on a list about stuff he missed about y/n
