Jaelynn didn't want to do this. No, she didn't want to do anything in general. After Liam left, the death of her mother didn't fully hit her until now; she would never be able to see her mother's bright brown eyes that would shine when ever Jaelynn would get straight A's or score a goal during a soccer game. She'll never hear the voice of her mom ever again or anything of her in general.

Jaelynn's heart felt heavy in her chest- she couldn't fathom how hard it's going to be not having her mom in her life. The plum haired girl looked at her reflection in the mirror; even though she put a little makeup on to make herself look a little bit better, she still could see how tired and drained she looked. Her skin was pale, which was unusual, that made her look sickly along with the dark purplish black circles under her eyes.

You could honestly tell that she had been crying herself to sleep.

Jaelynn smoothed out the crinkles in her black short sleeve dress before she moved away from her reflection and went to put on her black heels. She wished that none of this happened- she wanted to be back in Santa Fe where her parents we're ignoring her and where she didn't know anything about the supernatural or what she was.

"Jaelynn, it's time to go!" Her father Jack yelled up the steps.

"Coming." Was her reply.

She quickly grabbed the wool black cardigan that was hanging off her bed and slipped it on as she shuffled out of her bedroom towards the staircase. Jaelynn met her dad in the foyer, who was standing by the door with an umbrella in one of his hands and his car keys in the other.

Jack sent his daughter a weak smile. "You look lovely, Jaelynn."

Jaelynn sighed a little. She didn't feel lovely or anything for that matter. She returned her dad's smile as he opened the front door. The smell of rain hit her nostrils instantly and a blast cold wind whipped around them. Jack opened up the umbrella and quickly hurried him and his daughter to the car.

It was the perfect weather for a sad, depressing day. Jaelynn watched the raindrops race each other down the windowpane as Jack pulled out of the driveway and onto the street. All Jaelynn wanted to do was go back to sleep and not wake up until she wasn't living in Beacon Hills anymore. She hated Beacon Hills- it's caused her so much more pain than ever before. She rather be ignored than lose her mother.

It was silent between the two Tallons; it was like they we're being drowned in their sadness. Jack didn't know what to say to his daughter- he knew it was his fault for his wife's death. If he hadn't moved them here, none of this would have happened. If he hadn't taken the offer from Argent, he would still be sleeping in the same bed as his wife every night, holding her close to his body.

Jack watched his vision blur with tears and he quickly blinked them away knowing that he needed to be strong- he didn't want his daughter to see him like this. The car pulled into the Beacon Hills cemetery and swiftly came to a stop once it was by the burial area. Jack hopped out of the car while opening the umbrella and went to open his daughter's door.

The cold, wet wind blew into Jaelynn's face as she stepped onto the pavement that surrounded the cemetery. A number feeling had entered her body as her and Jack walked towards the newly dug grave and casket were at. Jaelynn didn't know what to feel about any of this- she couldn't feel anything, honestly.

She wanted to be mad, but at what? The world? Her dad? Herself? The dead pool? She didn't feel like she had a reason to be. She wanted to be sad, upset, angry, frustrated, scared ,just to make this empty hole in her chest feel a bit better. She wanted to feel something, but it was like she couldn't process any of it whatsoever. As Jack and Jaelynn came up to where the casket was laying in the ground, she honestly spaced out not listening to any of the words her other family members were saying or the sobs that fell from their mouths.
