Dread.

It was a feeling everyone got and right now, Jaelynn was very dreadful of walking through the door of her English class. Not only did she not study for her Chem test, she was dreadful of an encounter with Liam she'll have today no matter what. Considering the fact that she has English and Gym with him for the first two class periods of the day, she really couldn't ignore him. The plum haired girl trudged down the hall, her brown combat boots scuffing the floor as she walked to English.

Jaelynn felt like a zombie- she felt numb and zoned out from the entire world. She walked sluggishly, deep dark circles surrounded her brown eyes and the usual dark tone of her skin was oddly more pale than ever. It was like she was barely there, like she was stuck in the little world that is her. Everything seemed to be going in slow-motion, and Jaelynn seemed to be the only person to see it. She entered her English class, sitting in her seat that was in the back of the room and quickly hid her face in the arms of her maroon Nike jacket, hoping she could disappear.

Jaelynn didn't know exactly why she felt like this- she should be happy that the dead pool was over with and that she didn't have to look over her shoulder every five seconds, but every time she got herself to not be overly cautious, she still felt like it wasn't the end. A cold chill ran down her spine, causing her to instantly bring her head out of her arms, as she watched everything slow into a point of frozen. While she furrowed her eyebrows, a voice whispered her name.

"Io."

The sound of the whimsical voice that belongs to Artemis filled her ears. She glanced around the room, looking for the tall goddess as she wondered why she chose now to come visit her. Jaelynn was very annoyed with Artemis, her mother, and father for not telling her about the extent of her abilities- she didn't know she could kill someone or easily lose control like she did. She didn't even know that she could grow talons!

"Io, over here.."

The young siren turned towards her head to left, her eyes connecting with a pair of blue green ones, the usual mischievousness that was always there not being in site. The goddess was still just as beautiful as the first time Jaelynn met her, only this time she wasn't wearing a Greek dress- she actually blended in, she looked like she could've been a student. Well, a really tall student. Artemis's dark long brown flowed around her as she walked towards Jaelynn, who was still seated in desk.

Narrowing her eyes a little, Jaelynn crossed her arms over her chest. "What do you want?"

A sigh left Artemis's mouth as she listened to the hostility in her young siren's voice- she should of told Jaelynn instead of letting her figure it out by herself and the help of her brother. The goddess walked over towards the plum haired girl, the sound of her brown boots hitting the floor.

"I just came to talk Io." She explained, while she sat on the empty desk in front of Jaelynn.

The moon siren raised her eyebrows, in a mocking way- Jaelynn really didn't want to talk to her, or anybody for that matter. "Talk about what?"

"You know what.."

Jaelynn an overwhelming surge of anger glow through her body- she was so sick and tired of everything and everyone making her feel like she wasn't good enough to know something or to do something. She was so tired of people keeping things away from her which affected her life the most and not theirs. She was so tired of keeping her emotions bolted up and now....
