Chapter 6

Reign's POV

"Actually I don't ", he responded. I stood there like an awkward social butterfly cause I didn't know what to say to him. "Uhm well I...uhm..I'm gonna explore Paris today..would you like...I mean would you give me the honor...no wait what I'm trying to say is if...", why am I rambling, this is so dumb. "Yes I would love to explore with you", he said which shut me up immediately. He was looking at me like I was the cutest thing alive, or am I just imagining it? Yeah, I'm imagining it. With red cheeks of embarrassment I nodded and we made our way outside.

"Oh my jellybeans this is the best pasta I've ever tasted!" I told Akieno as we were sitting in a restaurant. We've went from walking around in parks, trying out all kinds of finger foods and candy, and now we're getting lunch at a cute little restaurant. "I'm glad you're enjoying it. They serve the best pasta here. I used to come here a lot before....", he was about to tell me something personal but stopped himself. "Nevermind, so Ms. Reign...wait I just realized you haven't told me your last name yet". I swallowed the food in my mouth before speaking. "Reign Andrews". "He stretched out his hand dramatically. "Nice to meet you Reign Andrews. "I giggled and shook his hand. "So tell me a little about yourself Reign Andrews", he playfully demanded like his interviewing me. I went along with it. "Well I grew up in New York, I'm an only child, both my parents died when I was at a very young age, I love the color blue and I live with my boyfriend, Blake", he casually nodded as he listened to me. "Sorry about your parents ", was his first response. "Okay my turn. I grew up in Japan which is where I still currently live, I have 2 sisters that are twins and a handful, both my parents just wants me to get married so I can give them grandbabies seeing that I'm the oldest, I love the color red and I live alone in my apartment in Tokyo". I nodded as I acknowledged his answers. "No girlfriend?" Why am I asking him that "Nope, only one girl ever took my job seriously", he answered amusingly.

After a moment of silence he spoke up again. "Come on, there's this place I want you to see". He paid for the food and we walked for about 10minutes before we reached a park filled with different carts of goodies, people flooding the park and kids laughing. It's a festival. My eyes lit up at the sight of tacos. "I have to get some of that", I thought out loud and heard Akieno laugh as I made my way to the cart. I bought two so he can have one as well and made my way back to him. "You didn't have to get me one..", he said. " I wanted to, now eat up cause you are gonna try all these different things with me that these carts have to offer", he laughed and started exploring with me.

"That was a lot of fun, thanks for today", I said as we walked back to our hotel. I held the little brown teddy bear in my hand that Akieno bought for me at one of the carts. It was around 6pm now and the sunset couldn't look more beautiful. "Anytime, you're fun to be around ", he responded. "Give it a week then you'll be bored of me ", I joked. "I'll gladly spend a week with you" . I started feeling giddy, but why? I shook the feeling off. "So how long will you be in Paris?" I casually changed the subject. "Just 5 days then I'm heading back home". I nodded. "I'll be staying for 5 days as well".

The rest of the walk went by quickly as we chatted time away and in no time we were back at the hotel. "Thanks again for today, I had a lot of fun", I said as we were standing infront of my door. "Don't mention it", he responded with a cute smile. "As I unlocked the door and started walking inside, I felt like I didn't want to say goodbye to him yet. Without thinking I turned around to face him again. " Would you like to come in?"
