Chapter 11

Akieno's POV

"Nina", I muttered. I don't know why I'm sharing this with her, but I feel like I've known her my whole life. " I uhm...I had a turtle once, then he died". She said. I sat up on my elbows. "Are you really comparing my dead girlfriend with your dead turtle?" The color in her face vanished. "Shit I'm sorry, I'm not good with comforting peo-" , I couldn't help myself. I laughed so hard that it started to hurt then she joined me. When our laughter died down, we found ourselves laying next to each other on the ground. "I wish I didn't have to say goodbye to you in the next 2 days" I thought out loud. She sighed. "Me too", I cupped her cheek. " Maybe we don't have to", I whispered. I leaned in but not all the way. She filled the gap that was left and our lips moved together in sink.

I know I said she's not in a good mindset right now and I meant it , but I can't help myself. Sparks filled my body as I started roaming my hands along her neck and arms as we kissed. "Hey! You two aren't supposed to be here!", I looked up at the security gaurd. "And that's our sign to run", I hurriedly said to Reign as I pulled her up. We started running the way we entered with the security gaurd hot on our heels. "Stop you two!", he shouted, but did we listen? Obviously not. "Oh my gosh I've never done something like this before!", Reign said in a panicky but also exciting voice. We finally made it to the car and drove off.

"That was exhilarating", she said. She was breathing heavily cause of all the running. "Yes it was". I drove us back to our hotel and by the time we got there, it was already 2 in the morning. We walked together to our rooms, but we both stopped infront of hers. "Thanks for everything today. I had a lot of fun watching you run like a duck", she said and giggled. "Hey, at least I don't run like a penguin", I retorted playfully. "How dare you!". We laughed. We've been doing a lot of that these couple of days. "I meant what I said Reign, these five days doesn't have to be the end". I kissed her hungrily which she returned. We pulled away to catch our breaths. "Think about what I said okay? Goodnight beautiful". I pecked her lips one more time and made my way to my room.

Reigns POV

I lay in bed unable to sleep. Akie's words dwell in my mind. What if this doesn't have to be the end? Knowing me, I overthink the whole situation. How would we even make it work if he lives 14 hours away from me? How would our careers not clash? How would we make this work? The sound of my phone ringing brings me back from the theoretical world. I looked at the screen and with a heavy heart I answer. "Hello Blake".

I can hear him breathing steadily. " Let me clear the air babe. The voice you heard on the phone, was my cousin, Kira". I scoffed. "Ya right". He sighed. "Baby it's true, she was with me today to help me with something but I can't tell you what it was until you get back from Paris. I promise you I'm not cheating...again". My heart grew heavy."Blake I can't do this again, once was enough and I'm still trying to get over it even though it was 4 years ago". I started crying. "Reign please, I know I fucked up a lot, but before you decide to leave me, please come back home first". I wiped my tears. I really wouldn't be able to handle it if he cheated on me again. Call me stupid but I love him...but somehow after he cheated, my love for him chipped away little by little. He was my first. Giving him the benefit of the doubt I answer him. "Okay"

Thank you baby", he responded. "Just two more days then we will sort this out I promise. I'll let you rest now, sleep tight okay". I said goodnight to him as well and then he hung up. After flipping around countless times on my bed, I finally fell asleep with a cute Japanese boy on my mind.
