Akieno's POV

"Hey, Akie are you listening?", Mike asked as he waved his hand in front of my face. Lately I've been zoning out when I think of Reign. "Yeah I heard you...but just repeat what you said one more time". He rolled his eyes. "This new chick of yours got you day dreaming at work, hope I can meet her soon dude", he said and walked away. I scoffed cause his too big of an ass to have the honour of meeting her.

I wonder what she's doing right now. I can't help but miss her all the time. We barely see each other and when we do, we make the best out of it by...well you know. Mum and Dad loved Reign the minute they met her and apparently she called my dad a genie. Leave it up to her to come up with something like that. Just one more day then all of this zoning out will stop.

The guys greet me as they head home. I stay behind for a few minutes to see how that anime is coming along that Reign helped me with. My eyes almost fall out of their sockets when I see that it's gotten over 2 million views. It's a huge success. I have to show her when she gets back from SA.

Suddenly my phone starts ringing. Her name pops up and my smile breaks through. "Hey Baby, how's Cape Town?", I ask her. She sighs which makes me think she's upset. "What's wrong? Did something happen?", I rush out. "No, no, no nothing happened. I just want to use the correct words to tell you this". Sounds like it's serious. "I never thought that we would've lasted this long with our different careers that makes us see each other 5 times a month. I thought we were never going to make it...but I've never been happier in my life and I'm not gonna give up on us no matter how hard it gets. I love you". Her sweet words warms me up inside. "I love you too and I will never give up on us as well ", I respond. "I have a surprise for you. I'm heading home tonight which means I'll arrive earlier tomorrow morning so keep me some of your mom's amazing ramen ready". I laugh at her addiction for my mom's ramen. We say our good byes and hang up.

My alarm wakes me up an hour before Reigns plane lands. I do my morning routine and feeling guilty for not popping in by my parents after work yesterday, I call my mum. After talking till the point where I'm heading out the door, I tell her I'm picking Reign up. "Okay Honey. Love you", I tell her I love her too and hang up.

Blake's POV

"Yes I'm driving to the meeting right now", I respond to Nick over the phone. He won't shut up about this meeting since I landed in Japan about 10 minutes ago. I'm currently driving in a rental car to the building and talking to him on speaker phone. "You know this is a huge sale for our company so you better make it there in time". I groan. This guy just won't stop. "Yes I know, just like you know I'm the best sales consultant you got so get off my back", I snap back. "Just because we go to the gym together does not mean you can talk to me like that. Be happy I'm not firing you for that attitude. Incase you forgot if it wasn't for me, you wouldn't have this job and-", he keeps talking but I drain him out.

I can't take this shit right now. My mind is still fucked up over Reign. I'm still so pissed at myself for letting her slide out of my fingers for a girl that can't even measure up to her. I kling the stearing wheel till my knuckles turns white and step on the gas to just get to the stupid meeting." Are you there yet!", I hear Nick's voice again which just adds fuel to my overdrive mind that's about to explode."I told you im-", my sentence gets cut off by a loud horn and suddenly everything goes black.
