Chapter 13:- Ekansh's confusion
" Congratulations, Beta. We are proud of you", Ekansh's father said, hugging him.
" Thank you, Dad", Ekansh said, smiling.
" Congratulations bhai. Is sal bhi aapko hi best businessman of the year ka award mila hai", Aarav said to Ekansh.
( Congratulations brother!! You have gotten the best businessman of the year award just like last year.)
Adya was very happy seeing Ekansh's success. She wants to hug him and congratulate him for his success.
" Thank you", Ekansh replied to Aarav.
" Is baat pe celebration to banti hai", Ayush, Ekansh's youngest cousin, said.
( We should celebrate on this occasion)
" Yes bhai", Dhriti said.
( Yes bro)
" Fine!! Aaj ka dinner hum tumhare favourite restaurant mein karenge", Ekansh said, side hugging Dhriti.
( Fine!! Tonight, We will have dinner at your favourite restaurant)
"Idea mera tha aur restaurant iska favourite. Yeh kya baat hui. It's not fair bhai" Ayush said, pouting.
( The idea was mine but we are going to her favourite restaurant, that's not fair bro)
" Next time hum tumhare favourite restaurant chale gai, happy?", Ekansh said to him.
( Next time, we will go to your favourite restaurant, now happy?)
" Very happy", Ayush said, grinning.
" Tum bache chale jao. Hum toh ghar par hi thik hai", Ekansh's grandmother said.
( You children should go there. Your grandfather and I will stay at home only)
" But Dadi…", Ekansh tried to say.
( But Grandma…)
" Ekansh tumhare dadaji ka Blood pressure already high hai. Ab bhar ka khana khaige toh, bimar ho jaye ge. Tum bache chale jao", Ekansh's grandmother said.
( Ekansh, your grandfather has blood pressure issues. If he eats outside then he will get sick. Try to understand my children. You all go and don't worry about us)
" Okay", Ekansh replied.
In the evening, everyone except Ekansh's grandparents got ready and went for dinner.
Everyone was having their favourite dessert with happiness. Afterall dinner is incomplete without dessert.
" Bhabhi. (Sister in-law) you should try this ice cream. It's really good", Dhriti said, giving her ice cream to Adya.
Before Adya could say anything….
" No!! Adya can't eat strawberries. She is allergic to strawberries", Ekansh said, without thinking anything.
" I am really sorry, bhabhi. Mujhe pata nahi tha", Dhriti said.
( I am really sorry. I have no idea about your allergy)
" It's okay", Adya said. Adya was thinking how Ekansh get to know about her allergy.
" Maybe Mom or Ishani had told him", Adya thought.
" Mujhe kaise pata ki Adya ko strawberries se allergy hai '', Ekansh thought.
( How do I know about Adya's allergy from strawberries?)
He was very confused about it. When Dhriti offered Adya strawberry ice cream,his first instinct was to stop her.
He had told Dhriti about Adya's allergy without thinking anything.
