Annabeth, Grover, and Percy were discussing about... something but I only had one thing on my mind: the prophecy.

'Does he know something about my prophecy? Why would he know anything about it? He's not the god of prophecies, is he? Hey, mom? You've been oddly quiet, anything you could tell me?'

No reply

'Ok.' I thought turning my attention back to the conversation.

"... we can't," Annabeth told Percy. "Look, I hate Ares as much as anybody but you don't ignore the gods unless you want serious misfortune. He wasn't kidding about turning you into a rodent."

Percy looked down. "Why does he need us?"

"Maybe it's a problem that requires brains," Annabeth answered. "Ares has strength, that's all he has. Even strength has to bow down to wisdom sometimes."
I mean she's right but, "Couldn't he just brute force his way through most situations."

"Most." True, I guess.

"This water park, he acted almost scared," Percy said. "What could scare him?"
I stood up. "Only one way to find out."

We started walking our way towards the water park. I looked over to the horizon and saw the sun slowly sinking.

'See you soon mother'

No reply.

I looked down at my necklace hoping that there was an engraving or a message. I might be cursed with amnesia or something but I had forgotten that I didn't have it.

Great, no weapon. No-

"Try, τροχιά"

"Oh, ok. τροχιά." Nothing happened.

"Depending on how far it is, it may take several seconds. It will find you."

"Hey, I forgot to thank you for the bird thing a few days ago. So... uh thanks, mom."

No reply.

"Good talk."

Percy tiredly walked his way over. He looked awful. He had sunken eyes and his black hair was all scraggly. It looked like someone stuck gel in his hair and had a blind person try to comb it. I could only imagine how I looked. I was never that good-looking, to begin with.

"Who were you talking to?"

"Oh, my mother." I turned my head towards him.

His face turned into one full of bewilderment. "Wait, you get to have conversations with her?"

"You don't?"

"No, I ca-"

I didn't get to hear what he said as I walked straight into a fence. I turned around and saw all three of them trying their hardest not to laugh.

"Not a word," I said. After that, they all broke out into laughter.

I looked back at the fence to see what I ran into. It was just a standard green fence. On the gate that was supposed to let you in it had a padlock with, "Master" written on it in white letters. Above it, there was a sign that was supposed to read, "Water Land." but had some of the letters missing and it now spelled, "Wat r a d."

"How do we get over?" I asked myself. I looked up and down trying to find a way over until my eyes glanced at my shoes.

"Maia." The wings sprung out of the shoes and lifted me in the air. Going up was pretty stable with only a few "stumbles" but I gained height and leaned forward. As I leaned forward I went too far and did an accidental front flip before landing straight on my feet, with a tiny stumble.
