Silence loomed over the room as Dean Micheal kept glancing between I and the new girl. He propped his elbows on the table and rested his jaw on his hands.

"Let me get this clear, you were directed to go to the gate and get someone into the school?" He asked and I groaned internally. I dislike it so much when people repeat questions they already know the answers to.

"Yes sir," I said when I felt his gaze on me.

He sighed dramatically and turned to the new girl. Her hands were joined together at her back and her gaze was lowered to the floor as she shuffled from one foot to another. I took that as an opportunity to really look at her.

Her height was the first thing I noticed about her; she was at least 5'8 and was light-skinned. I tried to get a closer look at her facial features but her curly hair cascaded down her face, hiding it from me.

"What's your name, young girl?" The Dean asked and she immediately looked up at him.

"It's Jophiel, sir"

"Jophiel, who? What's your surname?" I watched as she momentarily froze at the question, but the corners of her lips tugged up the next second.

"Just Jophiel, sir. I don't have a surname" she replied and I couldn't help but feel she was lying. I stared at her for a little while before I shrugged and faced the Dean; who was still looking at her with a skeptical look on his face.

He stared at her for a while longer before he sighed and walked over to us. He sat partially on his desk and crossed his arms over his chest, "so tell me, Miss Jophiel, why are you here and how did you get here?"

She gulped at his question and scruffled a few feet away from him, "well..." She glanced at me but I kept a blank look on my face and she immediately looked away. "I don't know why, sir but I do know how. Yeshua led me here"

"What?" Dean Micheal breathed out and she exhaled loudly before she began telling her story.

We both listened intently and by the time she was done, I found myself believing her, and I couldn't help the feeling of happiness that engulfed me.  People tend to lie about encountering Yeshua, I have seen and heard a bunch of them, but my spirit agreed that she was telling the truth and I believed her. My lips immediately tugged up into a small smile.

She glanced at me nervously, but once she saw the smile on my face, she relaxed a little and smiled back at me. I bobbed my head reassuringly at her, then turned to the Dean; who had a smile on his face as well.

He also believed her.

"In that case then" Dean Micheal exclaimed and sprung up from his chair, "welcome to Basileia Bible college. I'm going to take you to the principal so everything about your schooling can be discussed. On that note, Zadkiel, you're dismissed"

I bobbed my head at him and with one last glance at the new girl, I began walking out of the office but before I could walk out I felt a soft touch on my hand and my brows immediately shot up in confusion. "if you don't mind, can you please stay?" I stared at her from over my shoulder as she spoke and when she was done, I looked at the dean; who glanced between the both of us with a smile on his face.

He shrugged when he finally noticed me looking at him, "well, if you don't have anything doing please stay back. The student council is meant to provide a guide anyway" he walked back to his desk and began preparing a file for her, while I used that opportunity to think.

I had a lot to do, so I can't afford to linger around as a guide. I'd just go back and send either of the other members to guide her.

"Stay with her" I heard the gentle whisper of the Spirit, and I tilted my head to the side at the instruction, "you have to stay, Zadkiel." He repeated and I nodded my head. If He says so, then so be it.
