Link's POV

I woke up at around 5 AM, gasping and drenched in sweat once again. Another nightmare.. It was the same as yesterdays, except instead of voices I was being beaten by unknown figures.

I caught my breath and calmed down. I looked to the side of me to see Revali sleeping, shirtless. I immediately blushed at the sight and went outside since I don't think I would be able to handle another second around Revali while he was shirtless.

I sighed when I noticed Zelda wasn't awake, meaning I had to figure out what to do while I waited for the two to wake up. I decided that I would kill some monsters, since thats all I'm really useful for now that I defeated Ganon.

I walked around in search of something to kill. I immediately crouched down when I noticed a camp of Bokoblins. There were 2 yellow ones, 3 blue ones, and 2 white ones on lookout.

I grabbed my bow and an arrow. I drew the bow, aiming for one of the Bokoblins on one of the lookout towers. I shot at it, killing it immediately. The other Bokoblins didn't seem to notice. Fuckin idiots. I thought as I drew and arrow from the quiver.

I shot at the other Bokoblin on the other lookout tower, killing it. I stood up and took out my sword, prepared for battle. I calmly walked into their camp, watching as they idiotically stumbled to their weapons.

One charged at me. I quickly did a backflip and the time slowed. I slashed it with my sword multiple times before impaling it mercilessly. I quickly took my sword out of the Bokoblins body and swung it at another one behind me, who was trying to jump on me. I chopped its head off with a single slice and then turned to the others who were charging at me. I took one of their heads and brought it to my knee, roughly cracking its head. I used the body as a shield against one who charged at me, causing it to stumble and giving me enough time to stab it.

After a while, I had finished killing them all. I didn't have a single scratch on my body. I sighed in defeat, plopping myself on the ground. Another win, I guess. I don't know why, but I missed that feeling of losing. Although, the last time I had lost a fight was around 8 years ago, when I was 10.

I started to think about how I missed how things were 100 years ago. But then it hit me. My fathers abusive actions, my mothers death, being forced to fight/train every day without any break. Remembering that sent shivers down my spine. I definitely do not miss that.

I realized it was about time everyone else woke up. I grunted as I stood up and started walking back to the camp.

When I arrived, I noticed Mipha, Daruk, and Urbosa have finally returned with their people. The Rito were there as well, but Revali was still asleep. "Goodness, Link. You need to stop getting yourself into pointless fights." Mipha quickly went up to me, cleaning my face with a damp rag. I chuckled.

"Well, it seems we are all ready to begin building?" Zelda asked, looking around. Everyone nodded. "Great, oh and Link. Could you please wake up your bo- I mean Revali?" Zelda snickered, my cheeks turned a slight red as I went into the tent me and Revali slept in.

I was kind of disappointed when I saw Revali was already awake and dressed. I hate to admit, but I was really hoping to see him without a shirt again. I decided to shrug it off anyways. "Mornin, Link." He stretched. I simply waved at him.

"Did you sleep well?" He tried making small talk. I simply just stared at the ground. "Hm, another nightmare?" He watched as I nodded. I felt him put his wing on my shoulder. I looked up to see him smiling slightly. "If you ever need to, wake me up." He then walked out of the tent.

"Okay, everyone knows what they will be doing. Correct?" Zelda asked, everyone nodded. "Very well then. We will need to work on the damaged bridges first, so we can actually enter the castle and work on it. Link, you help gather wood." I nodded and was quickly on my way.

I panted as I cut my last tree down. By the time I was finished, I was shirtless and drenched in sweat. Why do we have to do this on such a hot day? I asked myself, taking a large sip of water.

Revali's POV

I was up in the air gathering supplies like screws and rope so the Gorons could put the bridge together, but on my way back I couldn't help but notice a familiar blonde Hylian chopping some wood. I decided to go say hello to him.

I landed behind him and put the supplies down. Sheesh, how does such a small Hylian carry such a heavy axe? I thought to myself. Even I couldn't lift that thing up for more than ten minutes.

I was about to approach him, but as I took a step closer he stopped chopping the tree, panting. I watched as he put the axe down and took his shirt off. HOLY MOTHER OF HYLIA! I screamed in my head. My face was pure red, and my feathers were as fluffed up as they could be.

He wasn't exactly muscular, but he wasn't out of shape. He had more of an athletic body. His sweat glistened in the burning sun, and his panting was quite...Hot. Something else happened, but thats for later discussion.

I quickly picked up the supplies and flew off as quietly as possible. My face was still red. Fuck, why is he so sexy?! I landed at the bridge that was being rebuilt, hiding my uh...yknow. I quickly gave them the supplies and flew off, unable to get the image of Link out of my head.
