Unknown's POV:

I was happy. Just me, my dad, and my brother being together after my mom got murdered by a petty thief that just wanted her money. It took us a while for us to heal, but after a while the light in our life returned and everything was okay.

Until Kingpin decided to fuck with the universe.

The day the city went crazy, there was an accident with the power line. Me and my family were playing board games in the middle of our living room. It wasn't much because my father was struggling with money, but we managed to get by.

When the city glitched, everything went crazy. Everything was turning different colors and it was absolute pain to see everything look like it's falling apart.

I remember the panic my little brother and me had as our father tried to protect us. My brother was five and I was fifteen years old. The glitching caused a lamp pole to go haywire and it began to spark, causing an explosion to happen to a few homes.

And ours was one of them.

I remember the intense heat that had happened when my microwave and stove exploded. The lights followed soon after that, igniting a roaring fire when the glitching stopped. The smoke alarm went off immediately and it was deafening to hear. I remember the fear I had as smoke billowed from the raging fire, causing the air to become unbearable to breathe. My father had told us to get low and run fast. I ran as fast as I could to the door, avoiding the hot fire and the smoke as much as I could, urging my brother to fight.

The glitching came back again and that's when all hell broke loose. Every electric thing in my house just...exploded.  I was near the front door when it was open as that had happened. It blew me backward, flying me into a fence, knocking me out cold as my brother and father were incinerated by the flames and crushed by the debris of my house.

When I woke up, I woke up in a hospital with a broken spine and no hope of ever walking again as the doctors had told me, and I found out that my dad and my brother were found dead. I was devastated.

Where was a Spider-Man when I needed one? Apparently they were too busy fighting the guy who caused it in the first place. But they don't matter. I was an orphan and sisterless because they couldn't have someone to save them.

I blame them all.

They eventually made a technology to help me walk, and it took me ages to learn how to walk, so the hospital was my home for a while. I had a surgery that implanted a piece of technology that would keep the external technology attached to my spine and to my broken nerves. I could walk again.

Of course when I was healed, they sent me straight to a foster home. There I was mistreated by the other kids because I had something attached to my back that ended at my ankles to help me walk. It was torture but eventually I got through it. I ignored them by reading, and it wasn't much better with middle school and high school either.

The home that I stayed in had a large library, and I thought it was boring at first until I began reading the books. I had always loved to create things and learn how to create them, so I became interested in technology. I read every single book in the library on it.

Once I was eighteen, I was smart. Smart but still broken from the loss of my family, and my dad always encouraged me to use my creativity so I threw myself into college, earning a scholarship from my high school once I graduated. I grew smarter and smarter and that's when I began to create my own technology. I slowly became obsessed with hunting Spider-Man down and making him pay for my brother and father. Of course I couldn't do that without my own suit.

I got a job as a technician and a side hustle as a waitress at a pizza restaurant to pay for the equipment I would need to build a suit to get him down. Soon enough, I began making my own suit that would be effective for my range of movement, and also to be dangerous. I took up every kind of jujitsu, karate, any kind of fighting class that would prepare me against him. I strengthened myself.
