"my money is crying right now", donghyuck whined after paying for the meal jaemin wished for and picked up one tray.

"i was crying too when i did homework for you", the pink haired guy mentioned before grabbing the second tray of their order. (yes, they ordered so much that they needed two trays.)

"fair point", hyuck snickered and the two of them made their way to the table where their friends were sitting at.

they had already ordered something and were eating their food while getting to know each other and having an intense discussion about twice songs.

"hear me out, 'feel special' is the best song", yangyang commented and took a bite from his burger. "i love 'feel special' but 'fancy' is their best song", chenle replied and ate his fries.

"wow, y'all are sleeping on 'last waltz'. it's so underrated but heavenly good. mozart would be shaking if twice lived in his era", renjun added and took a sip from his drink.

"true. but you all must admit that 'cry for me' is one of their best songs", the blond haired boy mentioned seriously. "yes but i like 'what is love?' the most. it's so sweet!", jisung said happily and ate his mc sundae. this boy loves indeed ice cream.

donghyuck and jaemin placed their trays on the table and took their seats. however, they looked offended, catching everyone's attention.

"you guys are having a talk about twice songs WITHOUT us??", the purple haired boy asked dramatically while jaemin shook his head disappointed but not surprised.

"oopsie, doopsie-", chenle snickered and everyone chuckled amusedly except for jaemin and hyuck. "okay so, what twice song is your personal favorite?", jeno questioned and grabbed a burger from the tray.

jaemin and donghyuck grinned at each other before turning back to the group. "glad you asked", they said at the same time.

"wtf that was creepy", yangyang uttered concernedly. "this has happened with renjun and hyuck twice. don't worry but cheer up baby", chenle answered and took a bite from his chicken nugget.

"did you just make a twice pun TWICE??", jisung inquired his best friend.

"you too."

"damn, true-"

after having an intense talking session about twice songs, yangyang brought up the incident between his friends.

"renjun and hyuck. my dear friends", the chinese boy started and gained the attention of the adressed guys.

"so i've heard you guys had a fight and now you hate each other", their mutual friend started but raised his hand when one of them wanted to interrupt him.

"i have a favor", he announced and glanced at the two of them who were sharing mad glares with each other when they thought about the incident.

"please talk this out and be kind to each other. i hate to see my friends wanting to chop each other's head off", yangyang continued sighing.

silence and tension engulfed the air. renjun and hyuck stared at each other, thinking if they wanted to do their friend's favor.

"if you guys need to be alone, then tell us. we'll move to another table", jeno suggested cautiously.

renjun sighed and nodded. "fine, let's talk. it'd be nice if you guys could leave us alone", the oldest of the group gave in. "sure thing."

everyone except for donghyuck and renjun stood up, picked up their trays and left the table. "oh and please don't kill each other. we want you to be alive", jaemin added half jokingly before leaving them alone.

renjun let out a deep sigh before facing the purple haired boy. "okay, so let's talk about this."

"jisung, move! i want to see how it's going", chenle said as his friend was blocking his view with his height.

"yo, they smile at each other and it's not the one when they want to kill each other with smiles!!", yangyang whispered excitedly.

"omg they really do", jaemin gasped loudly. "talking can solve things!", jeno smiled proudly. "communication is indeed the key."

they were all sitting some tables away from renjun and hyuck, observing them while not trying to draw their attention.

"they talk long, this surprises me a l— oMG YOUR HAPPY MEAL TOY IS SO COOL", jisung gasped about the inclusion of chenle's meal. it was a tiny dinosaur plushie.

"I KNOW RIGHT, I WILL NAME IT—" "keep it low, guys. we're in public", jaemin reminded them and tried to calm them down.

"that's not a pretty name", chenle judged about the 'suggestion' of his friend. the pink haired boy facepalmed himself. "you cannot be serious right now."

"hyuck has just texted me that we can come over again", jeno informed and everyone picked their trays again before moving back to their original table.

"soooo, did you guys make up?", jisung asked curiously, putting his tray down and sitting down.

"nope, we still hate each other but wanted to fake it because we knew you observe us", donghyuck answered casually and opened his happy meal.

it was silent for solid one minute. everyone was too stunned to speak. how could this happen? were they really that stubborn?

then, renjun and hyuck bursted out in laughter, causing everyone to be confused and irritated.

"we were joking. we have made up and started off again", the two toned haired boy revealed smiling and ate his fries.

"yes. it was just the wrong timing and unlucky circumstances. our friendship deserves a second chance", hyuck agreed grinning and ate a chicken nugget.

"you guys sound so mature. glad that you made up!!", jisung giggled.

"god, my heart dropped because of you guys", jaemin said dramatically and grabbed his left titty.

"SAME WTF STOP PLAYING WITH MY HEART GUYS", yangyang yelled dramatically as well, trying to distract renjun in order to snatch his fries.

"I SEE WHAT YOU'RE DOING, YANG. STOP STEALING MY FRIES. THEY'RE MINE, BACK OFF", the two-toned haired boy scolded his younger friend and slapped his hand away to defend his fries.

"BUT THEY ARE YUMMY", yangyang protested sulking.

"YOU HAVE YOUR OWN FRIES."

"...uhm, the more the merrier?"

everyone started to laugh because of yangyang's statement and continued eating their food.

there was no tense and hatred atmosphere anymore. finally peace. in mc donald's at least.

after they have finished eating (which took them years), they left the restaurant and continued to talk when hyuck spotted someone in the crowd.

"this can't be."
