before jaemin could do anything, he felt someone pulling him to the side — away from standing beneath all the spotlights.
there he was surrounded by his worried friends and teacher, slowly processing and realising what had just happened.
it was a chaos, everyone was talking concernedly and jaemin didn't know who he should listen to. his mind was a mess itself which made everything more difficult.
until the male perceived quiet sobs in the background.
jaemin looked up to discover yejoon shedding tears and breaking down. sooyun was right next to him and tried to comfort him.
the sight of devastated and crying yejoon tore his heart in pieces. he couldn't stand the boy being sad and worried because of him. it destroyed him so much.
"yejoon...", jaemin thought and wanted to approach the crying boy, console and hug him, telling him that everything is alright now, however, he couldn't do that. someone stopped him from doing that.
"jaemin! are you okay? please, answer!", mrs. cha called out, finally drawing the attention of the addressed boy.
"huh? oh... uh yeah, i'm good", jaemin replied and tried to play it off, however, it was obvious that he was still in surprise and shock.
"good gracious! dear, i'm utterly sorry that you had to experience and witness that", the woman expressed and felt absolutely guilty and responsible for her student getting in danger.
"listen up! we will cancel today's drama club session for everyone's safety. everyone should head back home and get some rest from today's incident", she announced before glancing at the pink haired boy.
"especially you, jaemin. please, go home and rest well. it must have been overwhelming and shocking for you...", she added calmly, a look of worry was visible on her face.
