"LESBIANS FOR THE WIN", chenle screeched randomly in the background, making everyone to look into his direction.
the chinese showed them a thumbs-up and smiled brightly. "we stan queer people in this houshold!"
haewon let out soft chuckles at his comment. "i already like you, you're sweet", she mentioned, causing the younger one to smile cheerfully.
"anyways, we welcome you guys to our club", jaemin stated and stood up from his seat before approaching the new people. "and we are glad that you guys have come to visit us!", his lips tugged into a shiny smile.
"omg i love your smile!", haewon complimented sincerely, receiving a 'thank you' from jaemin. "yo dude, i love your hair", mark mentioned and pointed at his pink hair. "aww thank you!! you guys are so kind."
all drama club members introduced themselves to the seniors and held an interesting conversation with them. they started with talking about the drama club and ended up discussing which chocolate flavor is the best.
"dark chocolate is the best", haewon stated proudly. "for real!", jeno agreed with her and high-fived the senior.
"it's too bitter for me, i stick to milk chocolate", chenle replied and hyuck shared the same opinion.
"i'm more the white chocolate enthusiast", jisung commented with a little smile. "yeah, it tastes good. but i prefer chocolate with biscuits", jaemin said. "man, i'm craving chocolate now."
"dude but hazelnut chocolate is sick", mark added and received a concerned look from his female best friend.
"ew, nuts. i hate nuts. hella weird", haewon responded disgustedly. "i mean you are a lesbian, i'm not surprised", hyuck said casually and shrugged his shoulders, causing the female senior to burst out in laughter.
"HAHAHHAH THAT'S A GOOD ONE."
"hello, dear students! i'm finally here and sorry for making you wait for me", an older woman interrupted their chocolate discussion and entered the room.
"hello, mrs. cha!", hyuck greeted happily and the teacher gave him a soft smile. "oh! we have new faces here!", she noticed and glanced at the two seniors.
mark and haewon introduced themselves and told her that they were here for signing up so that they can join the club.
"dear! this makes me so happy!", the woman expressed and couldn't stop smiling. "before i take you to fill out the formular, i have to announce something. so, listen up, dearest students!", she clapped her hands to get the attention of everyone in the room.
"i have good news", she started, joy was written on her face. "we will not only have two new members but three new members!", the woman informed before staring at the door. "your time to shine!"
everyone glanced at the door, anticipating and waiting excitedly who the third recruit will be.
the door was slowly opened and the person who would join their club was revealed to be someone familiar.
"OH MY GOD", chenle yelled excitedly when the two-toned haired boy entered the room. "MY CHINESE HOMIE!!"
"RENJUN!!", jaemin shouted in exhilaration and a bright smile was seen on his lips. everyone cheered loudly and was happy about the presence of renjun (me, the author, including).
mrs. cha smiled at the sight of them being fond of the chinese. "so, you all know each other already?", she inquired chuckling.
"yes, we do", jeno answered and recalled the memories of the unlucky first encounter between donghyuck and renjun. now they are friends. "real enemies to friends", he thought grinning.
"how come you have joined us??", jisung asked curiously. "yeah!! AND without telling us??", the purple-haired boy added dramatically and placed his hand on his chest, indicating to be offended. all eyes were on renjun now.
"after hanging out with you guys, i realised that it would be fun to be in the same club as you. also, i need some club experience in my life and you needed members sooo it's a winwin situation", the two-toned haired boy explained and shrugged his shoulders. (yes, writing winwin is intended.)
"plus, i wanted to surprise you all. that's why i went to mrs. cha first and signed up before", renjun added smirking.
"you sly fox", donghyuck mirrored his facial expression. "that's so smart of you."
"i know", the older boy responded proudly and flipped his imaginary long hair back over his shoulder.
while they were having a conversation, haewon and mark talked with the teacher and filled out the required documents.
"ayo, listen up!", mark stated after a while and clapped his hands in order to attract the attention of everyone.
"we're officially part of your crew!", haewon informed happily and her male best friend nodded smiling in approval.
a loud cheer was heard from everyone, they had finally enough members and the drama club didn't have to disband.
"this needs to be celebrated!!", donghyuck exclaimed joyfully and everyone agreed in harmonisation.
"it's my time to shine!", a male voice sounded before entering the room, holding several boxes of pizzas.
"JOHNNYYYY", everyone shouted happily over the delivery guy and the food he brought.
"PIZZA JOHN, OUR SAVIOR", chenle screeched and the tall guy laughed amusedly at this nickname.
"here are your pizzas", the delivery man stated and placed the boxes on the table in front of the couch.
"unfortunately, i can't join you again unlike last time. gotta do my job and deliver more pizzas", johnny informed when jaemin asked him if he wants to eat with them.
"oh damn, what a pity", hyuck responded sulking. "but thanks for delivering us food!!"
"no problem", johnny answered with a bright smile. "have fun and eat well", he wished and waved them goodbye before leaving them.
they started to celebrate and consumed pizzas. jeno turned up some music and everyone vibed along. the room was filled with chatter and laughter, creating a lively and comfortable atmosphere.
donghyuck felt happier than ever. spending time with the drama club members brought him so much joy.
oh dear, he was looking forward to the drama club this school year. neither did he know that this journey will be filled with drama.
it's the drama club after all.
